Coronavirus Disinfection

I'm brainstorming ideas to recycle single-use surgical masks and gowns. Steam, Ozone, Chlorine-Dioxide are options. I'm looking to you guys to help design a tent and ozone water generator and fog the garments with the disinfecting water.
Need:
1. Tent
2. Party tent to shield ozone tent from sun. Need to avoid direct sunlight, as it could “activate” the ozone to form more destructive hydroxyl radicals.
3. Ozone water generator and some way to bubble it through water.
4. Atomizer/Fogger.
5. Ozone concentration meter for air (safety) and water?
6. Hazmat suit for fogging personnel.

Single use surgical masks are usually secured with some kind of elastic. The elastic won't hold up to repeated ozonation. It'll get brittle and crumble very quickly.

There's no need for an atomizer/fogger since the ozone gas doesn't need to be attached to water and then sprayed. Simply expose the garments to the gas. This would eliminate the need for drying as well.

There's no need for a party tent. A spare room, garage, shed storage unit etc will work.

Good luck.

Do you work in a healthcare environment, or in a space where you frequently come into contact with people that could be exposed on a regular basis?

Is self quarantine not a viable option for you?

133 deg F is suppose to kill corona virus. It’s on the WHO site. Why don’t they talk about this or look into it?

I come from a surgical specialty. Our masks are often tied on, at least the 3M 1818s that I wore, although a few chose to wear rigid masks which used elastic. We aren't just worried about Covid19 we also have to consider prion diseases and blood born pathogens that aerosolize when using power tools.

For home use do what you feel protects you but for professionals they need actual protective equipment. Which means melt blown plastic up to space suits.
Best of luck to everyone during these trying times.

I advise to read research about Covid-19, here you may found interesting facts, the latest news about vaccine and the possible ways how to protect in community. COVID-19 and artificial intelligence: protecting health-care workers and curbing the spread and COVID-19 and mental health are quite interesting for me.

When I first saw those behind the ear masks I thought wth. I’ve been using and ordering tie behind forever.
I like your mask sister.
