Dabs on the vacation/on the go

What do you use for dabbing on the go like traveling? I prefer to just bring herb and a pipe and not smoke a lot on vacations but I’ve found the herb stinks a lot more than some dabs and let alone smoking bowls of it which isn’t good for traveling in states where it is still illegal. I got a portable vaporizer and it worked for a while but the cartridges/coils you use get nasty and I don’t like the taste of it, seems unhealthy. Makes you cough a concerning amount, too much. Not like a normal dab from an enail or even with a torch.

does anyone have any device they’ve used that works well for them, won’t impart some nasty flavor/contaminants from the coil/cartridge?

This is what I have, I have used it a lot and my opinion is I didn’t like it. Too much taste/vapor of the coil/cartridge. Seems pretty unhealthy. I don’t think I’ll use it ever again unless it’s an emergency. But I would risk carrying herb and a pipe at the moment for travel over that.
I liked it a lot at first and then I just noticed over time it started to hurt me. Lol

So you say you drop your coils in isopropyl alcohol?

I just use my pax 3. Freaking awesome

Absolutely, end of funny taste. I dedicate coils to strains or types of concentrates.

What do you do you dry them afterward and do you wipe anything out? How long to soak them? I think the one I have is too dirty and messed up to clean so I’ll have to get a new one if I want to try.

Nothing you just let it dry. You use alcohol expensive electronics. Use some canned air to blow the coils if you have any. Or just but new ones, they’re reasonable.
