Federal Court: DEA Must Reconsider Cannabis Schedule

A federal appeals court has ruled that a lawsuit challenging the prohibition of cannabis can remain open — despite being dismissed last year — so that actions can be taken against the Drug Enforcement Agency if it fails to address the issue of cannabis’ Schedule 1 status.

The DEA is an organization that has legal protection to commit criminal acts. Fuck them, nothing but criminal violent thugs.

At the highest levels the DEA acts as an absurd but legal protection mechanism to keep prohibition in place, so "the right people" can make money from illegal / controlled substances. That will intensify when prohibition morphs to "legal" because "legal" will still be used to protect some and punish others.

At the lower levels of the DEA some of the stooges and affiliate law enforcers have been duped into thinking what they're doing is a good thing. Idiots are usually the best people to use for enforcing criminal laws. They'll do anything they're told for a paycheck and retirement. No moral compass whatsoever.

DEA agents will point to the one time they captured a scary violent "drug lord" and ignore the reality that prohibition is the reason there is any violence from both the legal and illegal side of things.
