well, im kind of relaxed tbh. its a forum, ppl share opinions on marijuana growing, I dont see the point of mocking me, calling me a dream boy instead of sharing any knowledge on the topic or just dont share anything , if its not a topic you are interested in.

Yes... people use deep red for a few mins in the last few minutes of the light period to simulate sunset

The only way anything like that should make any difference is if you were able to have your grow lights on a half circle track or something. So you could start them at the base of the plant on one side and it then raise itself like "the sunrise" then back down to the other side of the ground "like a sunset" That is why its best to train indoor plants to have a flat canopy. Indoors dont get light close to the base of the plant. Hence thats why they naturally grow like a Christmas tree. In that case i guess it might make some difference.

You have a point. but indors technically, you don't have to a only one sun. You can add some vertical bulbs to do this job.

Yea thats what i was thinking also. Thats why i feel like the whole idea is flawed. Just use overhead and side lighting if your that serious about it.

That sounds like a setup that may make a difference in how it all turns out. A bit out of most peoples leauge but nice .

look into 730 Nm red's used for end of day or "EOD"
I am using them and I am liking what they're doing to speed up the grow. It basically signals your plant faster it's bed time

These are all wonderful things that need studied more. We do not know the real answer to his question. We can assume it wont do much if anything at all but its still an assumption. The changes it would make would not be "seeable" in my opinion. If there is any change we would need a lab to test but i think the idea is solid.

The sun spends a couple hours setting and rising and its not just the fact it comes from one side to the other , it also has different spectrums. I still think all this would do very little to change anything but im still all for it.

i like the 730s at EOD too. Hoping to shorten some long sativa bloom times. I also use the 730s with extra 660s during bloom for the Emerson Effect. So the 730s stay on all daylight plus 5 at EOD.

I do the same thing with 660 + 730! Lol it is crazy how some strains stretch though.
Emerson and end of day is new to me and so is all this led

I’ll work from13/11off to 11/13 this flower cycle and see how it goes. Also doing full day uva and 3 short uvb exposures this round to see what happens

Roger that on the stretch. Now I only run the 730s and Extra 660s during the day, after the stretch. I have my UVA on the same channel as some violets and blues up to 485. I have to be careful with it though because it will bleach buds and leaf tips on some strains. I was hoping to run the UVB I just installed, Arcadia 14% but the Cali Mist didn’t like being super cropped week 2 of flower so I thought I’d give them a break. And the Killer A5 Haze just laughed at my feeble attempt to keep them short with lots of blue light and warm nights. They are just beasts and way too close to the light for UVB.
