Diy flood trays

Anyone have any input into diy flood trays?

I am wanting to build flood trays 14ft long 4ft wide. Was planning on have osb for the base and 2 x 6s for the sides.

I’ve bought some fiberglass kits thats sold for ponds. I was planning on using this but then I read that fiberglassing is hard and can have lots of pinholes.

anyone who’s done this got any advice?
I want a hard durable liner as I will walk on the tables to get to the far side when I plant them up.

Do they not leave lots of creases and how will it cope with walking on it?

Walking on it won't be an issue. They're rubber and really thick. I used one for my darkroom setup years ago. There's a sealant that you use on the edges that melts the edges together so they're water tight too.

The issue you're going to have with the fiberglass is that if it's not thick enough, it'll crack when you walk on it. I wouldn't worry so much about pinholes as I would cracking if you didn't do it right.

Here's a cheap one. It's about 1/2 as thick as the one @Renfro suggested, but will work well enough.

This is a thicker option...though not as big as you need. I'm sue they sell bigger rolls.

I’ve seen videos on that where they use tape on the seams. Im sceptical of using tape?

you recommend I use multiple pieces one for the bottom and one for the sides and seal them together? how would you recommend best way to seal it? Tape sounds like it may be doomed to fail

Is the liquid rubber not a better option?

It comes in massive sheets. When I used it for my reservoirs I just back folded the corners and there were no seams. Largest reservoirs I built like this were 18 feet long, 4 feet wide and 1 foot tall.

Do the folds not collect dirt and make it harder to clean?
