DJ Short original Blueberry F5

I had much better luck with my ratio but it did nothing for me in terms of finding a plant with blueberry terps. I’ve looked everywhere for the Humboldt blueberry muffin but everywhere seems to be out of it. I’ve pretty much had it with popping seeds only to be let down. Like your female mine all had a very frosty look and the colors were amazing but the smoke was pretty much a let down. If I had no expectations I may have been happy with one of the phenos but when you pay that much for a pack of seeds expecting BLUEBERRY and get nothing of the sort it’s enough to piss you off. Wasted time, wasted money, and now I’m back at square one. Thanks to everyone that made suggestions. Unfortunately I don’t have time or space to start that many varieties. If someone could recommend one strain that’s pretty much guaranteed to produce a true blueberry plant let me know. I have blackberry kush and some other very fruity strains, what I’m looking for is that classic early 90’s blueberry flavor where the stench creates the blueberry smell from a distance and it tastes like blueberry muffin. DJ just needs to be honest and IMO he needs to give that strain a different name.
I made research for you and i found bb muffin at seedcellar.com (which i have already order and im Canada) if you have no solutions, i can send you my remaining left..and i got couple of Bb sundae by cannarado which was good too!in 2000,i was growing a clone of mataro blue right like what you seek!..this year i just purchased a single sealed pack but it turn more afghan smell and taste but the BB structure! XD maybe you will have more luck with a pack its a super good buy they are cheap just in case i understand your situation

Dj bull shitter sounds more appropriate, I've still to read something positive about the blueberry?
I'd be fckn angry paying £125 and getting nothing like I payed for, that's a blatant piss take, we are wide open to getting ripped off.

Doing a pheno hunt with 7-8 that spouted from my pack of bx3, I'm hoping to find something nice.
How many did you grow out? Was there alot of different pheno types?
And how many had the Blueberry terps?
Did you find a keeper? And how many beans did you pop?
Sorry for all the questions, I just don't see any grow journals on this strain, or anyone growing it for that matter

I only had 2 main pheno types , one was foxy sativa nugs and the other was more rounded Indica nugs .
Out the foxy sativa nugs I had 2 different smells , one was like fresh blueberries and the other was more of a musky earthy blueberry .
The Indica shaped phenos all smelt same , like blueberry juicy js rolling papers , it's blueberry but abit more synthetic.

I popped 11 and got all females , 2 where the Indica shaped types , 9 sativa with 2 of the 9 being fresh blueberries and the other 7 the musky blueberry

Sweet thanks for the in depth reply, hopefully I luck out like you and get all females. Hopefully I get at least one of those fresh Blueberry sativas.
How was the frost on them?

“Cloney Soprano” on strainly has a bunch of old clones available. When I messaged him a while back he claimed to have the 90’s heirloom blueberry cut for $200 rooted clone. It’s not on his current list, but he may have it. In talking with him he seemed very legit so it’s possible. Just figured I’d throw that in here. No experience with him directly, but he is accessible and you can chat with him and ask questions.

Blue Satellite Redux (pre 98 djs blueberry x blue satellite 2.2) this cross is essentially 75% blueberry combining the old genetics with the new. The green pheno’s tend to represent the origional blueberry mom, while the purple Pheno’s are sweet, like a floral candy. I’ve found a killer old school Blueberry pheno I’m taking to F2 as well as a couple purple pheno’s F2’s

AK Bean Brains has Vintage Blueberry, Goosebay Blueberry and 907 Blue Genes (cross of the two)
Interior Alaskan blueberry strains pre-date DJ BB
The 907 Blue Genes is next on my list to pick up from AKBB, I've heard good things. My current plan involving blueberry is is to pop a couple of 90s blueberry crosses, I'm looking at ESB and Sweet Tooth.

Really? What proof do you have of this?
Not sure what proof can be produced as far as commercial seeds but I just heard him talk about how there were always blueberry strains in AK before anything would have been imported. Just bb smelling lines developed independently in AK back in the day i guess.

Yes, that is correct old Alaskan BB lines you can likely ask AKBB on IG @akbeanbrains if interested in the history.
Vintage Blueberry
An Alaskan native strain predating work by DJ Short that is highly rot and mildew resistant and is superb for harsh outdoor climates. Indoors, the plant needs a large pot to stretch out its roots as a constricted base will stress it into an autoflowering state that will show sex. Clean, upbeat, and happy.
