My friend has a small grow tent and the light in it produces so much heat that when close temps rise to around 40c. With the grow tent door open the temps stay around roughly 30ish give or take a couple depending on day or night. My question is, if he gets auto flowering seeds and has the light on 20/4 but with the door open so light will be getting in in the dark hours, will the plants hermie?

Not sure on the Hermine front, but do you have ur lights off during the hottest part of the day?
It’s too hot in there, some people use air cooled lights.
ATM it’s got a 600 watt hps I had spare but my friend is going to buy a 300 watt led, do u think the temps will reduce enough to be able to close the tent withy the new light in there?
