Do these seedlings look fine?

Hey everyone,

I have these seedlings (pink runtz) and I’m on week 2. Am I going crazy, or are they getting lighter in color? I only water them once a week, and they are on a 16/8 schedule in some miracle grow soil. This is my 3rd year growing so I’m still learning. I have them in direct sunlight for most of the day and when the sun moves, I put them under some cfl which they seem to like. Do they need watering ? Less watering or nutes?

They look great. As they should. Water them as needed. They will need more the bigger they get. No nutes yet.
Cfl can cause stretch and in youngins' like that they can stretch and fall over. Keep the light 3-4 inches from the top to prevent that. You will be watering more if you do that.
If they do fall over you can put more soil around the stem up to the coryledons. The little first round leaves.
You can do this at the next scheduled up pot too.

If you've got an LED, I'd go to that rather than the CFL. I start my seedlings in a SuperSprouter and when I read the spec sheet and saw how little light the CFL generated, I added a Mars SP 3000.

Re. light schedule - I wouldn't run seedlings 16/8. Seedlings will do just fine with 24/0 lighting and a DLI of 10 mols. Those seedlings look like they're lacking light because they're drooping. Cannabis plants that are well lighted will have leaves that are horizontal or that are elevated up toward the light ("praying").

The high percentage of blue light in a CFL will produce compact plants but they put out very little light. Couple that with only 16/8 schedule and "you're leaving a lot on the table".

What LED are you using?
