if i were to move up there with proper medical records do i have to be a resident for a year to be a medical patient or able to get my card.. i was told by my daughter that i have to live there for a year b4 i can apply for a card.. i am medically disabled and have medical records to prove everything. who can give me the truth..

I don't know if you have to prove residency for an entire year. I'd research the requirements for obtaining a MI drivers license, that may do it for you.

30 days after establishment of a po box or mailing address along with a state id or DL establishes State Residency.
