does my og kush have 4, 5 or 6 tops (fimmed)

I heard that if you fim correctly you get AT LEAST 4 tops. I fimmed a couple and only one worked, it gave me four tops.

So my og got topped by a bug. The bug must've ate most of my top and so I cut off the rest of the growth. I could tell within a day oR so that it had 2 tops plus more growth. That was about a week ago and its grown a little. There are definitely at least 4; the 2 side branches that turned into tops, plus the cut part pushed out new growth (2 more). Now I'm noticing another growth that looks like a top in the very middle, and some growth on the side and I cant tell if its a top or just a single leaf.



I think its 5; the four regular ones plus one in the middle. I think the one shooting out of the side is just a single leaf

Pics 2 and 4 show that little leaf on the side, my camera sucks but the more I look at it I don't think its a top

Man, I swear I think there are five. The "cut" tissue, the little dark spot has shrunk up and right beside it, way smaller than the other tops and in the very middle, is another little shoot. I'll try and get a closer zoomed in pic of it. I topped the two side ones again today, I'm wanting to mainline scrog this guy.

Okay its grown a little bit since earlier today, just enough to get some better pics.

You can see where I topped the two big ones on the side, and you can see the scar from the first cut in the middle and the small new shoot to the right of it in the first pic. Here's the other guy in question, pretty sure he's just a Nubby little leaf

Question-- I'd like to mainline this guy. Is it better to let each top grow out more than 1 node? Or is it fine to keep them close together in the manifold? I'm definitely going to top some more, I'm not sure how much but I'm definitely not gonna go crazy and go for like 32 tops or anything. Depending on how fast the tops grow (in relation to each other) I'll prolly cut the fastest ones one more time.

Yeah, I think so too. If I would've taken the picture from the other side you can tell that its one leaf, not one across from the other in the same shoot like a top has. Still tho, I'm super stoked to have it this small and have 7 tops growing already.

I need to start figuring out how to time my next crop, this guy is all by himself at this size. I have 3 seeds to start but they are all (supposed) to be sativas (I'm looking at you, attitudes/hso). Blue dream, sour diesel #2 and critical x ss haze. I should've started them before this og and tried to finish them at the same time but my veg room is down ever since I set up my tent for electricity purposes.

yea 7 tops is definitely something to be stoked about. That sucks that your veg room is down

Yeah, I wasn't having the best growth for some reason under my 400w mh in my closet. The humidity was around 40-50%, the temps stayed around 75°, it didn't have proper ventilation just an open closet but I dunno. All of my plants are still in shock from switching to the hps, except for that og he was young enough to not be fully acclimated to the blue spectrum of the mh. I'm def wanting to get my veg room going again tho; I'm vegging a little more under my HPS now but wanting to flip them bad, I just don't have a place to put the og and a couple others that I'd like a little bigger if I do switch to 12/12.

yea i know what you mean i veg in my closet and then switch to my other room for 12/12 but my dog got into my grow room and ate all my plants i had in there luckily i had one still vegging in my closet. but this one is growing weird it is 22 days old from germination and already has calyx
