Don’t buy cheap equipment!

I got this off of Amazon to monitor the CO in the grow room. A winter freeze has forced me to set up a diesel powered ReadyHeater in my garage to keep pipes from freezing. Just out of curiosity, I closed the garage door for about 4 hours. I had this meter in the house, and the co was reading about 9ppm. I took this thing out and set it in the garage for about 10 min. Notice the TVOC reading....O. And the CO at 2. ... it actually dropped! LMAO! If I fire this thing up with the garage door closed and not flip off the fire alarm breaker, it’ll start screaming in about 30 seconds. NEVER TRUST CHEAP EQUIPMENT.

Edit: Sorry, my equipment is usually cleaner. But I got lazy.

Cool stuff ain't cheap and cheap stuff ain't cool!
That's not always true. Recently the Blu-Ray player on my kids X-Box broke, and they couldn't play the game their had bought. The xbox is way past warranty, so it seemed like the only remedy was a new xbox. Not. After doing a bit of research, I bought this for under $15, and repaired the broken Blu-ray player inside of the xbox: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017KUF47Q/

Winning.
