Don't want stretchy plants!

~200w in a 2.3'x2.3' Mars Hydro tent (so just under 40w /sq ft) as an example. Mind you I have more than a few grows under my belt but I believe this to be achievable by anybody.

That's where I'm trying to get! Tell me bout your buckets. It looks like two stacked with a line from a reservoir going to the bottom. Looks like an auto feed system.

Yes, I have a 40"x40"x72" and a 24"x24"x48". the 24x24x48 is an excellent tent, but I wish I would have bought the taller 56" version. If you can find one in your area look up Maxsisun for a good tent at good price. Mine was $56.
the taller the better idealy you want as much stretch as you can get it increases the yield by the inch

That's an off the shelf General Hydroponics Waterfarm. They're very simple, very easy, and very effective. I made my own version of it (which you can see here) for my newest grow bc after using it, I saw room for improvement (primarily I wanted a greater capacity reservoir and also easier access to the nutrients for metering and maintenance).

She's a beauty for sure. I'm sure since this is my first time I will fail lots of stuff but I will learn.
My first plant ever got root rot, my second plant got root rot, and my third grow (2 plants) got root rot lmao. You'll do fine plus coco is a great medium, arguably the best option for cannabis (or is that soil you're using).

Just soil, never heard of that until after I already committed to the first one then my buddy sent me a bag of fox's to try with some seeds he sent so that's where I am but evolution will inevitably take place and Coco sounds viable for future plans.

Hey everybody, I'm getting ready for a grow and need some advice. i need to know how to control stretch? On my first grow I got what I think is too much stretch in my plants. The internodes where up tp 3" apart on some plants. It was my first grow so I didn't worry too much I just wanted to make it to the end product successfully. For background I grew in a 40x40x60 tent, using 5 gallon buckets. My light is a Nextlight Core (190 watts at the wall). I kept the light on full, it doesn't dim, and I tried to keep it 18" above the top of the plants. The new grow will be in 2x2x48 using Sunraise QB2000 (200 watts at the wall) it's dimmable down to 25%. This grow I'll be using n Autopot with Airdome in a 3.9 gallon bucket.
Control stretch....
1) blue light all the way to week 3 of flower. Typically thisnis by using mh bulbs but I'm sure leds will work too.
2) cool nights and cool mornings for the first 3‐5 hours of lights on.
3) feed silica... power si I good... expensive tho.
4) top your plants
