Drainage and Runoff, what’s the best way to get rid of it?

I’m using a scrog net to trellis and train my plants. Not sure I’ll achieve a true sea of green, but was curious for people who scrog, what’s the best way to get rid of runoff? I’m using these drip trays, but it’s already getting difficult to water and near impossible to take tray out now that I’m bending and training etc.
If everything is fixed,.. should I be like basting the water out of the runoff ditches?

So, I think those are upside down, and use a shop vac once you flip them.

I use a small pump that I connect to a cordless drill, the type that is used to drain oil through the dipstick tube on a boat. A small shop vac would certainly be faster but it only takes a minute or two.

Those are definitely upside down Flip them over and you should be all good to go. It you need to there’s some garden stores that sell them with wheels or get some at Home Depot or lowes and add the little one inch casters to them with rubber washer to prevent leakage and you should be good. The shop vac is also a growers best friend

I used a shop vac for a long time, and having one is pretty much a must when running hydro. I just use a cheap bucket lid one:

I really got tired of having to vac runoff all the time though, so found these drain-away trays that work great:

I connect 4 of these together in a 4'x4' tent, and have them all drain into a condensate pump, which pumps the runoff out of the tent.

ShopVac makes a Pump Series with a male garden hose connection on the head. I can pump hundreds of gallons and never have to dump it. Just connect a garden hose to your desired disposal place (mine is a 90 elbow dump in my sink).. and the pump is rated at 50 ft vertical ... tells you how powerful the pump is!
