DWC how high do you want the water level

Hey everyone our first time growing and first time dwc. We keep the roots mostly just at the brim of the bottom of the net basket. We are in week 6 day 5. Is this wrong? Plant appears to be doing well. For everyone that tells me looks good I always find same amount to say somethings wrong. Always confused. Plz tell me your thoughts. Stats:

Tent is 4×2
Tent temp 74-78
Ph stable 5.6-5.9
Humidity 44%-54%
Fan blows on tent wall to bounce on plant
1000w LED
Water temp: 18.5c -19.6 c (we are in a so very hot here)
Fox farm bloom 6 tsp
Fox grow 3 tsp
Container is 13 gallon but we fill to 8-9 gallons (insulated)
Feedings Monday and Thursday

used reverse filter water for all water adds and filter change..
plant drinks 1 gallon of water very 1-2 days with more 1 days than two.
Roots are white in water. roots that were 1 inch above were brownish while roots in water was ghost white. Raised water level to bottom of basket all roots are white now. Wi

If it seems to be working and the roots look good then keep rolling with it. If you feel though that your plant doesn’t drink that much, fill it less so that you aren’t wasting nutrients.

Thanks for reply. Yeah it is drinking half-1 gallon a day. We keep up on it daily.

One question; although I haven’t used the Fox Farms nutrient line, why are you using twice as much blood nutrient than grow? It looks like you’re in the vegetative state I’d expect your ratios to be the other way around

Thanks for asking and not beating me up over it as first time grower. These are the instructions from the manufacturer for Hydroponic. The bloom (which is suppose to be organic) is 2 tsp per gallon and big grow is not organic and says 1 tsp per gallon. We have finished that product and now using reserves osmosis water and TRUE Blend PRO for veg which is all in one chemical.

Fair enough. Seems strange though that they’d have double bloom over grow, but if that’s what it says sweet.
also, since you’re using RO water, you should look into adding Calcium/Magnesium, as you’ll be getting very little if any from those other nutrients you’re using

Thanks for reply. So I was thinking same thing. Our hydroponic story loves talking about success stories. That why I haven't been on. It has been suggested to start my flowers stages as it look "amazing and since you are fridt time. You should start bloom stage now because your plant is so big it will only doubled in size fduring bloom" but I thought way too soon. I am only at week 6 day 4. He said thats why because you have to go by the plant telling you. Everything isn't the same and isn't exactly a way a book says. Your thoughts?

How much vinegar do you add per gallon. I’m battling brown roots right now, also using fox farm. Res has been up at 23°c a bottle brings it down but only for 2 hours. Anyway I’m trying to achieve roots like that!

Dude hasn’t logged on in 2 years, hope you aren’t expecting a reply.
I am a BRAND NEW THC grower, and this DOES answer a couple of my new questions very well, thank you. I assume there hasn’t been any new growers in the last three years? Old thread or new thread who gives a &@$#! Grow info never gets old.
