DYI Tent walls Reinforced

Got tired of my Vivosun 3x3 sucking the walls in while inline cycles air.

Made a trip to home depot, bought 6 pieces of 1x2x8. Pulled out the mitre saw, measured and cut ends @ 45° so they catch the corner bars.

After drilling pilot holes, attached them into four "t" braces using 1x8 wood screws. Cut two small corner braces at 45° as well and attached the sides and back together in the corners. It's solid enough to brace the walls.

The front "t" simply rotates out for easy removal.

Just thought I'd share cause it's made a huge difference already. Previously when tent closed, my 3x3 was more like a 2x2 in the middle....

@Dreminen169, not trying to hijack this thread, but curious as to what’s going on here
I thought I would make use out of a old water cooler, so I converted it to ferment KNF inputs or for a giant hempy. Which ever I see fit at any given point in time. I’m sure there are many more ways to make use out of this gadget that I’m not thinking of, so if one comes to mind don’t hesitate to shout it out.

All I did was drill a hole a couple inches from the bottom and attached a ball valve and a tube for quick easy clean drainage.

Nice but adding organic material inside will promote mold as is. At least paint it.

I took a much simpler route. besides turning the fan down and opening up more intake vents.
I took a piece of hangar wire for grid ceilings. I think it is .09" dia, 12' long, galvanized wire but don't hold me to that. Took 2 1/2" dia tubes about 5" long, previously bong stems , and slipped the wire inside both stems. Make a loop and put the loose end through the tubes. Now you have a loop with the tubes covering both ends. Compress the loop and put it in the tent about half way up or wherever you need it and let go. It will expand and stretch the tent sides out. Zip tie to upright poles. and call it good. Once it is in you can form it more to a square if you like or just leave it be. The tubes cover the ends of the wire.

This is not really an issue.

He obviously keeps a very clean grow.

I've had untreated wood in my tents for over a year and it looks the same as the day I put it in. If you don't leave it to soak in pool of water and soil sludge and have good air circulation in the tent it doesn't become an issue.

The wire hoop inside increases tent size as it expands constantly. Great for high lights, which I don't have. I took a piece of vinyl tubing and slipped over the wire to help with potential tent wear.
In my "hospital" and the veg tent, I took out the wire being my lights are so close to the canopy. I added a piece of sheet metal and covered the ends with cardboard for now, going to cut vinyl tubing and slip over the sheet metal today, and attached it to the top of the light. It is 8" wider than the light so it pops the sides out. Makes it easier being I don't have to work around the wire.
