Early Red Hairs??

I am currently just starting the fifth week of flowering for 20 Northern Lights x Skunk plants on an ebb and flow table, about half of the plants have 40-50% of the hairs turned red already, does anyone know if this is normal for this type of strain? I have only grown mostly sativa dominant plants before and they usually havent got a single red hair by now. Any help would be appreciated.

It could be strain-related, or more probably environment, usually heat. Is it too hot? Or are your hot lights too close? Several other things can cause hairs to wither early. Watch the growth of new white pistils, and you may see things even out.

If you're on Day 30, plan on harvest in 35-40 days.
