hello! Looking to throw in some uv light into my led grow (cxb3590s 3000k 5x5 from rapid led) wondering what is the easiest kind of plug and play i can get to not break the bank but still get something out of it. What do you all think some kind of reptile bulb?

RapidLED has a couple plug and play UVA options. They have a basic puck for $40 or a more advanced strip board for about $200(after added options).
I use the puck in my 3x3 and like it. I am thinking about adding another one or replacing it with the more advanced strip here soon.

I don’t have any experience with the reptile bulbs but here they are a good option, cheap too.

I really dig these. Not the cheapest route but not too bad.
If you can use it sparingly as recommended (last two weeks of flower max), you will get many flowering cycles out of the bulb. Replacement bulbs are $60

Theres also Shane from MIGRO. He just launched a 310nm tube + fixture. Its a bit pricey but overall hes a very honest business man.

Solacure Flower Power bulb.

32w each, and are 20x more powerful that the best reptile bulb made, which is the Arcadia Desert Dragon 54w

Solacure is geared towards Plants, and Not Animals. Solacure is the ONLY bulb that is strongest from 280nm-305nm.

2 x 32w x 4ft bulbs are good for a 4 x 4 area.

These also have Built In Reflectors. UVA/B is LOST upon reflection, and also takes special/expensive glass to let 280nm go through efficiently.

These can also be run at 80w+ as they are greatly overbuilt, but is not necessary unless running in a greenhouse, and really far away.

Always wear UVA/B Protection, as they will fry your eyes. 4-6 hours is what is needed. Depends on distance from plants. Usually use 2 for each 1000w HID/LED equivalent, and 4 x 4 area
