I’m building a 5x5 flower tent. I was about to buy 2x Electric Skies 300v2 before I went down a rabbit hole and now I’m not sure which to buy! What’s your recommended LED?

You might find better value in the lumatek zeus pro 600. It beat everything in migros tests to date on umol/j and price.

How tall is your tent? How big are the pots that elevate the plants? The Fluence Spydr 2i is great for when you are limited on vertical space as it can be ran at 6 - 12 inches from the canopy where other lights often require much greater distance like >28 inches.
When mathing out your vertical grow space, include the height of the light itself including hanging hardware, space between the plants and light, pot height / hydro system height. Subtract the sum of those numbers from the height of your tent and you will have whats left for your plant.
So if you have a 60 inch tall tent for example, old school 1kW HPS (15 inches with hangers), pots that are say 15 inches tall, light to plant spacing of say 20 inches, we end up with a total of 50 inches. 60 - 50 = 10 inch tall plants! lol Of course those numbers are just an example but you get the idea. With LED the light is lower profile and so lets say the fluence with hangers equates to 4 or 5 inches of height, pots at say 15", canopy to light distance of 12 inches, we end up with 28 inches left out of 60 for the plant height.
So do a little math with your tent height and planned pot size to see what light you want to use.
