i can't fully judge yet cause i only popped 3, 1 was female which i cloned and put with the 2 males to make more beans but after flowering her its a C+ at best, leafy, generic, mild citrus, pencil eraser(which i hate), some faint strawberry, its good for sleep that i give it, but overall just not as good as you would expect from the history surrounding it, i was expecting some legendary shit but thats a big negative on that particular plant, have a few hundred beans now so hopefully the one is in there, im gonna get some #6 or 47 next time, hear thats the best royal, hows your experience with royal?

I’ve grown Humboldt seed company’s version and smoked a few examples from other people, it always had a nice taste to me but was never that impressive of an effect. Kind of a faint purple taste. I’m sure there are some good ones out there, you may just need to hunt. Emerald mountain has the real genes, and like you’re saying there are sooo many different royal kushes. A lady I know had a little book with each royal kush type numbered with descriptions, I wonder if she still has it. She was friends with Mandelbrot and made the garberville purple kush that’s in the strain.

My Royal Kush came via The Curious Cultivar and has been a favorite, indoors and out! Outdoors it really thrived and is one of my favorite smokes! The indoor, ran for a seed run, has a powerful lemon pledge plus fuel aroma. Generally, a euphoric, creative inspiration strain for me.

I have to say, I hope you just got a bad pheno and there's good stuff in those seeds.
I have had alot of strains that have more variation in the offspring where one female will be fire and one not good at all.
Then some lines are more uniform.
I would like to think a bx10 would be more uniform but who knows....
