Enzymes and ucroots (pool shock)

Is using enzymes and uc roots (or pool shock) at the same time in my resevoir redundant or will it work?

I'm using enzymes for what I believe to be stopping salt build up. But I have some dirty resevoir so I want to use pool shock to stop it. (Brown gunk on the walls and bottom sometimes. And a film on my pump)

I use jacks321 which is relatively clean untell I add mpk later in flower. At which point salt city on everything. The enzyme I use (pond enzymes stage 2) makes it so it just flakes off easily while being cleaned. Before it would be a bitch to scrub off.

If there's something I should change as well let me know. I'll admit resevoir health stuff is not my strong point.

Thank you

how about instead of the smart ass reply, tell us what your final NPK ratio was using your MPK along with Jacks? lots of people use jacks and "maybe" could benefit from your insight.

and no, enzymes and chlorine are not needed together IMO. enzymes go better with beneficical bacteria IMO

I use drip clean for the salts.. bleach for the bacteria. 321 for the nutes.
Thank you. I was thinking about drip clean but it's so expensive, and I'm cheap af. But maybe it will be worth it. I do buy power si so maybe it's just time to man up and buy the drip.

that's why is said "why the MPK"?
During flower I drop the cal nit slightly and drop the jacks hydro alot. I want less n. The presence of nitrogen is high doses will cause your buds to be leafy. I use some mpk to boost flower production. I add more sulfur for terpine production. I keep enough calnit to get my calcium.

I use hydrobuddy to get proper levels for what I want.

I bought a 250ml bottle 3 years ago. Still have it. The dosage is very small and I have a small res.

thats not salt buildup you gotta add pool shock more often. i was getting brown film in my reservoir too til i started adding poolshock every 2 days instead of every 3-4 days. its bad bacteria overtaking.
