Estatic gelatos from fastbuds

I started my gelato autos and now I’m in week two of germ. They had a slow start with its sprout popping up and reached for the light farther than I wanted. The light which was at 20% had them reaching high. So future reference lets me know that 30% at 32-34 inches above the canopy is a great ballpark for the stems not to reach up. I did some experiment to see if I just add only water until week six of veg so we will see if I works out.

What light?

I had my 600w MH only about 30 inches away at seedlings.

Also you’ll see much better results if you use a root stimulant instead of just plain water. Only a few bucks but the difference in plant size is remarkable.

Bigger roots bigger fruits!

I mixed mycorrhizae and flower girls in all of the soil before I planted seed. The bottom 1/3 has 5-5-5 all purpose and dr earths flower blooms and I’m trying to see if it will yield the same as a super soil already bagged. I’m using the sf4000 for the autos and usually I do a photo period. I’ve learned real quick that it’s a different ballpark with autos. Over all I think I am going to grow more of them just because they are very forgiving on not feeding as much. I like only having to add as much as 1/8 of what the photos require and that makes a super soil grow easy peasy other than the ph balance. I’m aiming for 6.3-6.4. With the fert being at the bottom all I would really have to do is a good flush the last week or two of harvest and watch the ph levels.

What root stimulate are you referring to here?

My light is the spider farmer sf4000. I used sustainable agriculture’s 4 species off Amazon. I think it was a half a buck plus whatever myco came in the flower girls. So far one of the ladies love it and the other is doing okay but not taking it like the sister so I’m assuming it’s an older seed or stunted from light stress. But seeing how they were planted seconds apart makes me think more sativa than indica and vice versa. I have them last and mainlined without topping.
