Starting a new grow for the Fall. Featuring Bob Bitchens genetics which I have admired in a number of other growrooms here. I grow in promix hp and feed only gh Maxibloom and tap water. Seeds sprouted on 8/16 and have been transplanted to 4 gallon pots. I took 4 cuts from each and now I'm going to flip to flowering. I relocated my tent to a much larger space which should help my environmental control. Looking forward to a smooth and fun winter growing season!

I'm going to update this journal every Sunday. Not much to say except it's day 7 of 12/12. They haven't stretched much yet but they're growing and healthy. 1tsp maxibloom per gallon and they are getting a gallon a piece whenever they feel light, about every 3 days. 14 days from flip. Now feeding maxibloom at 1 tsp/gallon. I didn't top these and only removed a couple fans that were in the way of my watering can. Lots of buds appearing and I really like the natural plant shape: side branches are catching up with the main top. Just going to let it go and keep the feed up. Raised the lights a few inches. Now reading 815 ppfd at the tops, was over 900 before. Figuring out this 3 light setup20221002_090032.jpg20221002_090025.jpg

3 weeks of 12/12, say 2 weeks flowering. I lollipopped to eliminate larf generators.

Chernobyl20221009_114132.jpg A little concerned about scattered fan leaves showing some intervenal bronzing.20221009_082656.jpg It may be strain related but I need to understand it. I have pH and ec meters coming this week so not flying blind may help. 6 well rooted clones which need feeding20221009_114228.jpg

3 weeks into flower and things look good! Got pH and ec meters from Bluelab this week and learned my usual feed in my tap water reads at 6.5 pH with 730ppm @ 1tsp maxibloom per gallon. Plants are loving it. I am no longer concerned about leaf color; looking at other growers' plants I see it's normal for these strains. I switched out my budget panel lights for my 10 year old legacy Area 51s because I was seeing a leaf droop I didn't like. Sure enough they seem perkier. I guess there is no free ($30) lunch! Someday I'll get a big boy light.

I tossed out a few clones, kept 2 of each and need to repot three still. They are now under one of the cheap lights at 50%20221016_081254.jpg

The weather is changing. It remains to be seen if I can maintain an adequate climate in this space. Haven't grown down here since the hid days...Screenshot_20221016-084341_Govee Home.jpg

So that's this week's update. Wisecracks or encouragement equally accepted

Awesome! Is there a terp or effect that these strains are known to give that you're excited about?
Any seeds you have your eyes on?
I would love to grow exodus cheese again. I like stinky citrus cheese and things like sour deisel. I'm not very into growing lots of different stuff at the same time though. There's a limit to how much I can utilize!
