So im under the impression an exhaust fan will fix my issues with humidity. What is one that doesn't cost alot? Do they normally come with the tubing? Can you guys give me ideas. I got a 6x6x8 grow tent

Dehumidifiers will fix high humidity issues not exhaust fans. Exhaust fans are designed to circulate your existing air. Good luck
Omg!!!! One mf saying that won't help, now your say the humidifier will work, ugh!!! What is it that will work? Your sure the humidifier will work? Which one do you recommend?

I'm not sure what you are talking about saying someone said it wouldn't work.

Dehumidifiers remove humidity. If their is a certain target humidity you are trying to reach and your current environment would prevent that even with a dehumidifier then that's a different story.

Its on another thread. I asked which dehumidifer would be a good one, and he said it wasn't the dehumidifer that was my problem

Air recycling is an imperative with high humidity levels. You'll get mold way more easily if you don't install that.
And yes, a deshumidifier can help in many cases. Might be useless though, depending on what environment you're growing in.
Im trying to go through cheap this grow. I already spent around 500 on the grow set up this time around, so not trying to get more and more crap. What do you think I need out of those two?

Exhaust fans work best over a dehumidifier if your ambient air outside the tent is a good RH.
If the RH levels overall, outside and inside the tent are high, then ventilating air will do nothing for you and you will need a dehumidifier.
Ventilation though doesn't just control humidity, but its also essential in temperature control, and just as importantly it gives your plants fresh air with a renewed supply of CO2.
if you do not ventilate, your plants will eventually suffer and maybe even die regardless if you have the perfect humidity and temp, this is because they will absorb all the CO2 available in the air, untill its at such a low level that the plants essentially suffocate.
Some pics would be helpful

I may be looking at a dehumidifer. Nothing is really bad but the humidity. Do you have any suggestions on one

I'd def invest in a dehu, but at the same time, if you don't have an exhaust fan in a 6x6x8 tent, you really do need one...

I use my dehu to get the RH to where I want outside of the tent, then the exhaust causes negative pressure which draws that air in, the plants suck up the CO2, then the air is exhausted out the window... If there isn't transfer of air then you're just begging to run into issues. Airflow is probably one of the single most important things... you need oscillating fans, or at least moving air inside of the tent, then you also need to be extracting the air from the tent.

Not really. Check around craigslist for a used one?
Im getting a de'longhi. Cost around 360 but getting for a hundred on Craigslist. I think I will pass on the exhaust fan. Read other people did it with no issue. My main concern is the humidity. I dont want bud rot.

I got a fan blowing. I will think about it, right now it hasn't caused me one issue. I got all the bottom ports open on my grow tent, I know not ideal like an intake, but got to work with what I got.
