I just harvested a Berry Ryder auto and found a fair number of seeds in it, maybe 30 or so?
I don't think the plant hermied because I never saw a pollen sac anywhere on the plant.
I was however working with some White Widow pollen about a month ago and am wondering if the auto was accidentally pollinated?
My questions are, if that did happen what would these seeds produce?
And if I grew them out and interbred them again would they ever become a stable line in the future, or be forever screwed up?

There'll be a mix of autos and photos. Leave them in veg and the autos will.. auto. Pick good males and females as usual. Collect those seeds. Repeat.

I read this many years ago, but I'm pretty sure that's how that goes. Also read that the ratios of autos : photos go:

F1 - 25% autos
F2 - 50% autos
Etc.
Again, just going off memory

Thanks!
So it looks like it would take many generations for it to become stable. Sounds like a lot of work to me.

No, not new, I just wanted to see what autos would do. I collected the WW pollen so I could have more WW seeds without
having to buy more. Not trying to make new strains, just want some free seeds, lol

Lol gotcha. I grew a white widow auto a couple years ago for a friend. Was pretty good, despite nearly killing it near harvest with online stoner "increase THC" jabber lol

People making money off of lies..I think that is what ruins people's experience with growing pot.

I'm not understanding your post Dmannn?
Seems like he meant, dont listen to everything you read. People tend to read sometimes too much with first time grows and end up failing ruining their thoughts of ever growing again.

The more times you read something, the more it is true. This website is has fairly good information. Not too much bullshit.

I've been growing on and off since 1976 or 1977. Back then you couldn't even find any info on growing at all, no books, no internet, nothing.
You learned from someone who had done it before and were limited to their knowledge and experience.
Today it's like information overload with a fair amount of bullshit.
I just try to weed out the bad from the good.

Yea, someone out there paid 500 dollars for a picture book lol (3 a light)

But this was just old stoner myths. Like leave your plant in darkness for the last 24+ hours, nail in the stalk, etc.
