Rubbing alcohol 91%.

Seeped solution poured out on a glass pie dish. Let dry until the 9% of water evaporates. Scrap with a razor blade.

So you just put the weed inside of alcohol and drain it There's no pressurise
You can take anything from the plant and soak it in the isopropyl alcohol. Leaves, stems, whole bud or ground.

The alcohol will pull the oils into solution. Strain through a wash cloth or a coffee filter. Throw away any plant matter. Or wash it again.

If you feel there's oils stuck to the filter. Use more rubbing alcohol to wash it out. All it will do is take longer for the alcohol to evap. Maybe an extra 30mins.

So you don't have to shoot it through a tube like you do with butane

No. With butane, you really need to vacuum the final product. To make sure there's no butane left over. You can achieve the same thing but safer with alcohol.

Ethanol works well too. Get a small rice cooker to boil it down in, either outside or a well ventilated area.

The method which experts agree upon producing the finest extract is Butane. Like anything best results require due diligence. PPPPPP Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance..

I’m all about well made QWISO. The method I use is in the link in my signature at the bottom of this post. Qwiso provides excellent extracts in a simple manner if you start with good material and follow the proper technique.

For clarity’s sake, I neither recommend nor endorse anyone using dimethyl ether. One reads about idiots blowing themselves up using butane, a fairly tractable material.

Dimethyl ether is ten times the fire hazard. Two reasons: autoignition temp (from a hot surface, no spark needed) is low. A frying pan is hot enough.
Also, the explosive limits in air range from 2% to 50% in air.

For butane those same limits are 1.6% and 8.4%.
