False alarm!!!

it’s my first time attempting to grow, and I know it will mostly be trial and error but I noticed something I haven’t been able to find answers to this morning while tending to my seedlings. these tiny green things started sprouting at the existing/ developing nodes (shown in the picture). They look like possibly the beginning of pistols from what I’ve seen online? But it’s so early! they are very small at the moment. My plant is only 11 days post germination, is it possible that it’s already trying to show its sex? By the way, I have 3 plants in there at the moment. 2 of which are about 11 days old and one is about 8 days old. They are in a 2x2x4 tent with a fan and a carbon filter. They are under a 50 w purple LED light (pretty close to them but not enough to burn) on a 24/0 light schedule while they are still little. (Was gonna switch time 18/6 one they switched to veg) and I’ve been keeping the RH around 65-70% since they are seedlings. The temp around 70 as well, was gonna adjust that too, lowering it as they get older. I did just order a new light because I feel like they haven’t been getting an adequate amount of light but it will be here probably tomorrow. I have them in regular organic soil and was planning on starting to feed them in a about a week or two once they have about 3 real nodes and are officially veg, but now this happened today and I’m puzzled. Can anyone help? Give me any tips on what I should do. Oh and by the way I have no idea what kind of seeds they are, which i know now is a rookie mistake, but hey it’s my first grow and I figured I would give it a go. thank you!!!
I tried to post a few pics so you could see, they are super small. And this is happening to both of my 11 day old plants.

It’s just new growth calm down lol.

You may want to consider getting your lights closer to the plants if you can some of those are looking stretched out.

Also I doubt that 50w blurple is going to be enough light.
Hey!! Thank you! I was just worried bc it’s my first growing experience!! I wasn’t sure about the stipules that popped out, but yes I just ordered a 150w full spectrum light which will hopefully help a bunch.

Is that 150w of actual LED power? As in when you plug it in it draws 150w of power from the wall? Or is it an equivalent 150w?

I believe so.... I ordered it online and it says it’s 150 watts and has 98 LEDs and is supposed to be full spectrum. is there a way to tell? I’m new to this all.

I doubt it is 150w actual, same thing happened to me when i first started ordered a 300w and turned out it was only 50w

There will be a label fixed to the unit. It should tell you how many Watts or Amps in the "Output". If it's Amps and not Watts, just take the number of Amps and multiply it by your voltage (likely 120V). That's how many Watts it draws from the wall.

I can interpret it, yes.

That's not what the lamp pulls as far as wattage. That's just the rating of the switch itself, and how much current can pass through it safely. That'd be 3A at your household voltage.

You need to find the label on the lamp itself, not the switch.

Weird! I looked all over the light and can’t find any label or text printed whatsoever. the only thing printed is on the switch. I looked through the manual and no info about wattage, amps, or output either. Here is a link to the light I bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07T1Y4MHK?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Unfortunately, the wattage doesn't appear to be properly documented, and that doesn't surprise me, as the lamp itself doesn't have any electrical certification at all.

There's no real easy way to tell for sure without electrical test equipment, and splitting a cable open, which I wouldn't recommend.

I think it's safe to assume that the lamp doesn't draw a true 150W, but that's just an educated guess. With that said, I've found very similar lights online, and they claim 56W, which is right around what I would have suspected.

Gotcha, well at least I can combine this with what I already have and eventually get something better. Is there a reliable source out there for buying such equipment? Thank you for looking into it btw!

You're quite welcome. I don't use LED lamps, so I'll have to let others who are more familiar with using them speak up to what's decent and what isn't in LED-land ;)

However, you can definitely add it in to what you have for now, until you sort out any upgrades you desire.
