Haha some say its mud round these forums on cannabis ! Herk so what you grow in hydro soil and what's formula you like or heard best on !? You ever used a one part as yet or you make ya own my friend
I use a blend of gh 3 part & soul synthetic bloom as I've got an abundance of stuff to be used up but at some point my attention is gonna focus in the direction of a simple way of operation of my waterfarm

as long as its balanced for the plants your growing, 9-9-9 will do as good as 9-4-10 or 9-3-6 or wtv high N fertilizer is used. you just need enought of each mineral to keep your plant comfortable.

plant doesnt recognize ratio, if theres no excess or defiency, they will thrive wtv the ratio.

yield and growth rate depend on so much factor , the correlation between yield and nutrient ratio is far from important ,if not ,insignifiant.
I've done the side-by-sides, ratios make a difference. You're forgetting that a lot of elements have antagonistic relationships with other elements. They may not cause a deficiency but they can hinder yields in a rock solid environment.

I'll elaborate just a little bit:

A 9-9-9 is supplying more phosphorus than need in a coco/promix/dirt medium and supplies more nitrogen than necessary in a hydroponic situation. Using a 9-9-9 in either scenario will get one to the finish line in good shape but tweaks to the N,P, and K can absolutely be made for better performance.

@homebrewer

your opinions on l-glycine amino acid and fulvic acid additives in hydro?

i've been happy with DG foliage and silica (cal/mg if needed) but been wanting to try a few additvies to see if they make a difference

I've used a couple amino acid additives over the years and can't say for sure if they provide any benefit. Have you messed with them at all?

I do like humic/fulvic/sea kelp kind of additives in hydro as I have seen more resin production, stronger aromas, and better flavors from products like floralicious plus. That's essentially my only non-NPK additive in hydro and I really like it! I've used it and not used it and there was enough of a difference for me to consistently use it in hydro and in promix during flower.

i used a vitamin/hormone booster years ago and did some with/some without and didnt' really notice a difference. i just picked up a small bag of L-glycine to see if it does anything.

i also got ful-power from BioAG. supposed to be a very refined version of fulvics for hydro applications.

gonna give them both a shot and just see hwo the plants react. not sure if i want to try both at the same time or just one at a time. i'm leaning towards the ful-power first since i have a feeling that it will be more beneficial.

Long time no see guys . So what's been the most notable npk ratios for hydro to ubhave done ..witch stands out to be better for hydro? Seen you do 3-1-2 v others that was years back. You liked the 3-1-2 over thr other anyways have you done one with 3-1-2 v 3-1-4 mel franks npk ? What's was the outcome
