Favorite Music or Movie to Harvest to?

I think "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" is a great movie to have on when I am cutting down a plant or two. What do you guys put on?

This one.. the day before so they get the hint

Then this one just a few moments before they expect the light to turn back on. It sets the mood for me.

Wife and I always play some Elton when we're in the trim jail.

I just spent about twenty hours trimming this year's harvest. My avatar says it all.

I listened to three DeadCasts, all of Veneta (again), and several other shows, plus some JGB, and even the occasional Who's Next when I needed some caffeine.

It’s gotta be trailer park boys, I used to watch the whole thing all 12 seasons while I trimmed, now I’ve got a trim bag I just pick 1 season haha

Started last night, slapped the jobsite radio onto IHeart Radio Five Finger Death Punch channel and away we went for about 4 hours. Step kids are learning what trim jail is, told them get used to it, we have quite a few long nights ahead of us.

Ooh, I hadn't thought about that. As I mentioned above, I either stream Grateful Dead (live shows), or some classic rock albums (Who, Eagles, etc). Next time I'll try some ageless Bob Marley, maybe Natty Dread.

I just finished this year's trimming, so I'll add it to 2023's playlist. Thanks for the idea!

I may or may not have music on. Trimming isn't anything I enjoy. It's a chore that I try and get done as quick as possible. I don't kick back and relax with a movie. That seems like a distraction and would slow the process down. Plus I'm working those trimmers so fast that I need to focus all my attention to the task of trimming. I've snipped the tips of fingers before and it's no fun watching the blood spurt out while you make a run to the bathroom for a bandage.

I've mentioned this story before but I'll repeat it again. I went to a friends house and he was harvesting his plants. One of his friends was over helping him as well. I made the comment about how trimming sucks and I hate doing it. Well to my surprise they both said that they enjoyed trimming. I was so disgusted that I left. The thought of trimming sickens me so I can't understand how anyone could enjoy it.

If I do have music playing it's more than likely going to be some heavy metal. Judas Priest or Iron Maiden.

I throw on some corn whiskey music like Chris Stapleton or Tyler Childers. But Sublime, Bruce Springsteen, Outkast, Dave Mathews, all make my playlist. Just a good mix of everything suits me.
