female plant pollinated?

I buy feminized seeds online. Reciently I put one of my plants outside ( my grow tent was full) so I put one plant in a field of soybeans and a few weeks later noticed it must have gotten pollinated somehow. Is there anything I can do to stop it from getting seeds? It was starting to bud before I moved it to the field with soybeans. Am I correct to assume the buds will have seeds? Thanks for any and all help.

You can’t stop the chick from getting pregnant. There’s no such thing as birth control for Mary Your only bet is just keep the seeds To use for later grow. I would look thoroughly over that plant and see if it hermied & Pollinated itself because if so you’ll have a shit ton of feminized seeds. It’s still going to produce buds But those buds will be less potent and covered in seeds. So are you can do is make the best of a messed up situation.

I don't understand how it pollinated. As there are no other plants near it. Mine are all inside. And like I said I put that one in the middle of a soybean field. Got me guessing. Thanks for the info Anonymous.

This plant started to bud before I moved it. If its a hermaphrodite. Will the seeds be female plants?

(fighting the urge to misinform)

It's unlikely you'll want those seeds. While you may get some ladies from them, they will be very sensitive to any and all kinds of stress and do have a higher chance of herming.

Some people will grow out herm seeds, I'm not one of them.

Yes that is a hermie. Those are not seeds but male pollen sacs and there are also female flowers making that plant a hermaphrodite. It's not pollinated yet but when those pollen sacs open up it will be. You can try and pick those off to keep the bud from getting seeds. Good thing it's not in your tent but you may want to look your plants in the tent over real good to make sure you don't have any male junk hanging out.

Could always be bad beans.. but there's a lot to consider before bashing the breeder. Good Luck, hope you find the cause.

Thanks for the info. The ones I have in the tent are ready for harvesting. I've done 3 our of 6 already. Hope it's good weed. Was a good grow
When did you take those pictures? That plant is still a couple weeks from being done.

Yes that plant is outside in a grow bag. The ones in the tent are ready
Those pistils shooting out all around the buds may indicate that it still has some swelling to do. Not sure on the strain or your experience with it. I could very well be wrong.
