Fimming in flower

Ok lads an lasses ,
Has any body fimmed there plants week 4-5 of flower ?
You's would be surprised of the outcome if you's havnt tried it ,

Ok I've not heard of that what is it as always any information would be greatly appreciated

Well , bout week 4-5 just snip of about 3-5 mm of the peak of the bud , you would be suprised , sends the bud sideways and fills out massively ,
Think It's called back building cannabis or brick building cannabis , look into it .

A havnt got none mate , will get some when plants are in there 4-5 week flower , if anyone has the plants at that stage , try it on a couple heads , you will like what ya see , if longer flowering strain then add extra couple weeks before fimming .

Do not fim in flower! Fim before the stretch only, or you will lose harvest weight.

Not trying to fight lol. Fimming should be done according to the size of your flower light. Small lights, fim earlier.

Yeh mate , I've done it a few times with good results . It's one of those topics , some will say aye , some will say no . Instead of forming into a point they fill out to the size of the fattest part of the bud , ya get what I mean ?
Wouldn't recommend it if it didn't work mate .

Fim stands for Fuck I missed. It was a technique someone stumbled on when trying to top a plant. They did not cut far enough down and instead of one cola turning into two it created multiple colas.

I'll be doing it when the time comes mate . Only just starting to show pistols .

That sounds like what they call bud "backbuilding".

And no, haven't done it.

Try it mate , ya dinnit have t do all plants , just try on 1 cola , ya cannot knock it till ya try it

backbuilding works. I thought you were talking about topping them right before flower, or on the switch. Yeah, trimming the top of your bud will stimulate it to, I suppose, repair itself, which gives it a fuller top.
