First Grow - 5x Girl Scout Cookies Auto.

Hey all you other girlsscout cookie auto growers in here, Happy Easter!
I wanted to share my fastbuds gsc at day 62 from seed with you guys. I think there’s life still in her and I’m going to push her forward for a couple more weeks. Here’s my girls.....

You must have something figured out with these.
The website describes as 8 weeks flower. Didn’t mention how many days from seed. I went to flower week 3 and 8 weeks flower I’d say I’m on schedule for 11 weeks.

I’ve fucked mine anyway, oh well here’s to the next grow!

Mine are on day 50 and don’t look anywhere or anything close to that.

yeh read this. Just I’ve screwed my grow up big time. I gave it too much bloom..at too low PH.. because I’m cutting corners as I’m skint and can’t afford proper Ph up or down solution so the plants have suffered massively. The leaves all went yellow... then started to go dry and fall off. The leaves that didn’t fall off have got nutrient burn on the tips.

the RH is too low. Its 39% the buds feel dry , not like dried bud, but just dry. They don’t feel moist or wet at all which I expected. The growth seems to have stopped. None of the popcorn buds further down the stalks have developed at all, and i for days now I’ve not noticed any real change in the shape or formation of the buds. They’ve just stayed looking the same.

I literally want to just get to the end of this grow, and start again. I haven’t lost interest, I’ve just lost faith in what I’ve done. I know where I’ve gone wrong and it’s mainly been over feeding, at under the recommended 6.5PH plants love.

Don’t cut corners kids. Get proper stuff, don’t do what I did and cut corners thinking it’ll be fine. I knew 6.1 was too low when I was feeding it but had no way to increase the Ph once I’d added in my feed so fed it anyway. It’s just caused so many issues.

Ugh.

Happens to the best of us. You had it right up until about 10 days ago. Everything was good. Take some notes and pop some more seeds!

6.1 ph instead of 6.5 ph in soil did not cause the issues. The over feeding did.

Day 51 update. I’m very very angry at myself. I’m angry because I’ve ovefed the plant, not cared for PH and now I’m paying the ultimate price. The pics have been taken with flash, and don’t hide the state of the leaves. The leaves are screwed. Yellow, with a range of problems showing on the leaves - too many for me to recognise. RH is ranging between 35-40%. The buds feel dry. I just look at the plant and feel sad I’ve fucked it. It’s too little too late.

Let this be a lesson to myself not to over feed and to buy some decent ph adjuster so I can actually accurate adjust my ph. I put off buying it because money was tight.. but I’ve sorted that issue out now.

Complete disaster. So so gutted. Just flushing with water till the end now. Once this grow is done, I’m investing in new equipment. I’ll bounce back better than this and with new found knowledge.

I don’t even know how long I’ve got left. I’ve got a loupe on order from amazon, along with precision trimmers, a bud drying rack , and some glass jars for curing and some RH packets you put in, apparently these are good for the curing stage. I’ve also got PH adjust up and down solution on order, I’ve got 200 litres of new fresh soil, 9 new bigger 18 litre fabric pots (an upgrade from my current 12 litre fabric pots), I’ve brought 2 new clip on-to pole fans , these are better than my existing one as both oscillate. I’ve also brought a new 5inch intake fan. I went to buy a new grow light, but decided just for this next grow I’ll stick with the 600W HPS. This shows how determined I am to bounce back next grow.

Yep, nutes are way stronger than put off to begin with. I learned quarter doses because in nature they do not receive this stuff regardless. You have a job to find how little is just enough. I see guys on here murder plants with nutes and end up with the same amount I get just running ocean forest with no nutes during veg, and no my seedlings did not burn like many claim. My plants were never happy watering at anywhere near 6, I water at 6.4 to 6.5 to give room for error both ways. Here a pic to show how it has worked for the plant that didn't get lumen burned

lessons have been learnt, but your plant looks very healthy and happy. Much like mine did until I started flowering.

Thanks man. Hoping they yield enough to last until the photperiods get done in July

Day 54. Jewellers loupe needs to hurry up and arrive. I can’t see the trichomes. I’ve screwed this grow up enough as it is, if I stand any chance of decent bud it’ll be harvesting at the right time.

Jewellers loupe came today. Has a built in LED light too. This still needs longer am I right? It’s day 59.

I don’t know if anyone is still following this. Unfortunately I’ve got quick sick, I think I’ve got mild corona. Started feeling dodgy on Friday, then felt so crap I couldn’t get out of bed till this morning. I honestly felt like I was going to die. I feel better this morning, but still feel crap. Unfortunately I was too sick to water the plants and they’ve really suffered.

2 of them have burnt to a crisp. I might be able to salvage one of them for edibles and one might make for low quality bud. The other 3 have done remarkable and are now done. These 3 Girl Scout cookies are done. I’m happy with the level of milky/cloudy trichomes. I’ve switched the lights off now.

I need to rest. They can sit in darkness for a day with the fan on and I’ll deal with them tomorrow.

Not dried at all, not cured, been hanging to dry for a few days so I thought I’d take a pic of a bud a pulled off and trimmed. Just one. Just for a pic.

It’s pretty much dry, few more days and then it’s going into glass jars to cure. It’s got little to no smell at the moment just smells like garden grass cuttings if I’m being honest but I’m not too concerned, I just smoked some and it’s pure fire I’m so baked! I’m hoping curing brings back the smell. I won’t be touching anymore of this now till after curing is done.
