First grow in 5 years Strawberry Diesel

I took a 5 year break from growing but my new g/f's brother happens to grow and he gave me two seeds that he said were from the best weed he's smoked. Said he got it from a dispensary and it was called strawberry diesel.

One was a male and one was a female. I vegged the plants outside and by the time the female was large enough to take cuts she was already flowering for a couple weeks. Clones had a ton of pistils which worried me because I didn't want to wait weeks for them to reveg. Thankfully it wasn't a problem and they've been growing like weeds!

Clones were transplanted into 1 gallon coco.

Thanks friends, I appreciate the kind words.

Here's the most recent photo, one week into flower! Getting anxiety as to how I'm going to manage the canopy. This plant has a lot of limbs and probably should have been netted... Wasn't in a position to do that because I'm using outside air so I was turning on additional lights as the temps continued to drop and spreading the plants apart each time. Currently cooling 13k watts with a/c hoods and outdoor air which is pretty sweet.

Thinking about draping a net over the canopy securing it to the walls with the help of my g/f in the next few days. Any advice appreciated.

So here I am now... Day 3 of flower. What did I get myself into?!?! I'm being told to strip off all my fan leaves!! I've never done anything like that in previous grows. Other then that I'm happy that the plants are so healthy. Excited to get my irrigation lines run.
Hahaha yes, some lollipopping, some defoliation for light penetration and airflow... Nice grow btw!

How are you going about watering these and dealing with runoff? Looks like that by itself would be a full time job.
I've got these rain bird 9 port manifolds and just run one line to each plant and put a t barb at the end and zip tie it to the trunk. 44 gallon trash can rez empties in 8 minutes and each plant get's a gallon of water. I'm lucky that the basement is sloped from all sides to a huge floor drain. Floor is dry in a couple hours after watering.

It was a huge pain before I got the irrigation setup though! Now I can go down and put on a green led, mix the rez and water and don't have to be there exactly at lights on. I actually have a dosatron fertigator and a 3/4 120v solenoid valve that I can wire to a digital timer, but I'm skeptical about using a 1 part bloom fert through all of flower. I'm running 3-2-1 btw. I'm still going to hook it up soon and experiment with it for a bit with jacks blossom booster.

I never updated what transpired on that strawberry diesel grow but pretty much the plant hermied. I did have a feeling that was a possibility since the seed was found in a nug.

I had to start from scratch with Larry OG and raw dog clones. Harvest was successful only hit 1 lb per light but it was quality.

The last photo of the plant stringed up was one northern lights plant and I hit a pound with it. I'm moving forward with Larry OG in Northern lights for my next runs which are actually underway as we speak.

I've been making certain the irrigation solenoid valve is working as it should be by putting my phone on an alarm when the irrigation is set to turn on. Then I log into my security camera to verify water is coming out the the t barbs and that run off water is headed towards the floor drain.
