First Grow, Is It Chop Time?

XtraGood those buds look amazing! Such great trichome growth!!

.
I am happy with them for sure, RIU definitely contributed a lot of useful info throughout the process! I tried a few times to get more info on the cutting, but "OG Kush" is all I have gotten. No grow report/review, no breeder, no other info. Seems to work though. No idea when it is supposed to finish.

A few early harvest test bits from the sides got dried for 5 days in the drying room and cured some 6-7 days now, they taste/smell reasonable. Maybe spicy/minty, I don't know enough to say, but not super crazy strong. Head high only. Hoping the extra 2-3 weeks between them getting snipped adds a bit to the experience for the rest of it when it finally comes down. Beats what I was buying either way. Nothing harsh to them except being a bit green still.

I wish they'd start looking done. That is for sure. I got a loupe off ebay, they still do not look done, if anything I see even more clear trichomes than in the pictures.

Day 73,
Some colas look like they are still bulking up quite a bit:

Even the large ones with dead fan leaves are still putting out white stigmas.

Patches of amber are growing and I can find amber trichomes more often when looking with the camera.

It could be getting chopped in the next few days, if everything was working that would definitely be the case. Been trying to get a minisplit AC for a drying room, it's looking like the AC delivery isn't going to make it in time (5-7 days from now). I'm not doing terrible with a portable AC now, but the perfect control I had over temperature during spring is no more, summer weather is here. I could steal the AC from the flower room and use it to ensure the temperature stays reasonable during drying and let veg stuff go a little longer...

They're large plants, not all the fan leaves are as dead as in those pictures. I am wondering if I can wait another week or not. I probably took thirty pictures and mostly they show less amber, most look like this:

Bit torn because of the dry room issues, but the room should be ok to use either way and I would rather not wait too long to chop them.

Day 76: Chopped one.
Drying room is holding on to 63F 56% humidity pretty well, hopefully it stays stable for a while, extra ac around if it does not.
I feel like I got lucky with the cutting and numerous other things, like finding all the info and methods on RIU. Next flowering or two will be clones of the same cutting until clones from a few different seedlings get bigger.

Working on figuring out bubble hash for the trimmings and underzone larf.

I've got an OG Kush flowering now, If it comes out a quarter as good as yours and I'll be stoked!

Look into dry ice hash if you can find a local supplier or if you don't mind paying for shipping. It's dead simple, quick, and there's basically no mess.

Local lady bug, not my doing, hopefully just finishing off the last of whatever there was to eat. Maybe the last of the gnats?

I think your plants look just about like mine! You've got a few strains that I have heard really good things about, interested to see what you think of the results there. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the genetic pool to expand over here.

I like how easy dry ice looks, I will do a bit of that too I bet. That washing machine sure does clean the heck of those tricomes though and I like the idea of getting to full melt.
