First grow, organic led quantumboard

Hello to all happy growers.

First of all shout out to the roll it up community.
Especially to @Rocket Soul, @Dougs Nugs, @wietefras and @WeedSexWeightsShakes who gave this newbie the guidance regarding his light set-up (my apologies for the ones I forgot to mention). I'm a medical patient who uses cannabis against chronic pain and recently received my legal license to grow my own medicine.

After reading my self in on this forum for the last couple of months I started my grow, and as promised here's my journal.

Set-up growing space

Space: (W)1m x (L)1.5m x (H) 1.8m closed closet with reflective walls

Light: Fotop quantum board rspec lm 301b Samsung (600 watt)

Medium: organic soil prepared with Bio tabs, startrex, mycrotrex and bactrex

Nutrients: bio tabs line (biotabs, orgratrex, mycrotrex and bactrex.

I chose to go for the bio tabs line so that I don't need to measure ph an ec values and most off all because they claim to be organic and the quality of the bud is in my case more important than the quantity. (Let's hope to get some quality lol).

Looking forward to your knowledge and advise as I'm sure this idiot will make mistakes down the road.

Next post will have some pictures from the progress so far.

Light up and bright up

Below some pictures from the girls.

Before I forget, I'm growing 2x Strawberry Lemonade(Barneys Farm) 1 x Pineapple glue advanced seeds) 2x Gsc (forgot the seeds bank).

All in 20L fabric pots.

Day 15
Lights are dropped to 90cm and driven on 220 watts.

After this picture below I turned it up to 300 watt.

Night temp 19°c, day temp 24,5°c, humidity fluctuating between 48 and 58.

Only tab water in combination with the prepared bio tabs soil.

Something went wrong with uploading the pictures as I noticed that they're double, anyway you get the idea.

Love to hear your thoughts about my girls.

Does someone know if I can already start with lst?
Not planning to top this round.

I would have topped them first, then did lst. But that works too. They look great.

Thanks Padawan. Next time I will.(perhaps still with the other three) Just a little short one time this round. Do you know approximately how much time I lose in case when topping?

It depends on how drastic you top, but I would say about a week or so to get over the shock. They recover much faster though if you just top it lightly.

That's not so bad, thanks! Will top one or some of the other girls. Nice experiment for me to see the difference.

Small update, no major issues just spotted a small fly which causes frustration. I think it is a fruit fly. Any tips on a natural solution?

Another question, when flipping to flower is it best to slowly build down the hours or instantly go from 18 to 12?

I don't think it makes much difference. Although slowly increasing light intensity is beneficial and efficient.
