First hermie ever ... I think.

So my last Tangie seed is acting all weird.
All 9 others popped ... got about a 50/50 M/F ratio so far.
Seeded some Rainbow with one of the males and have a great hybrid from it.
Wanted to get one last male Tangie to pollinate the hybrid and bring in some more Tangie traits.
All looking good ... definitely appears to be a male based on the clusters of buds ... then BOOM!
I see all these white pistils coming in on some stalks.
Stumped ... never had a hermie in my life ... outdoors or in.
Won't be pollinating my female hybrids with this if it is a hermie.
Same plant. Anybody wanna take a guess? Or is it super-obvious?

Hey thanks for the reply.
After more reading apparently I have a special plant.
Male hermi throwing female flowers.

The first picture dosent match the second and i dont see male in the second very much just a bunch of pistils.

Preflower and first flowering can be a traumatic time in the plant and is not always an accurate judge of sex over waiting longer for a more solid answer.

Keep it see what happens :-)

There’s no doubt it’s a male. The tops are loaded with male flowers.
The pistils were unexpected. And disappointing
Was hoping for a male. Would have been OK with a female obviously.
Instead it’s an unusable plant.
