First micro grow advice

Hi all,

I built a micro grow inside a closet, 35 X 35 X 45H
I want to keep there 2 aurora, 2 GSC if possible. It will be nice to experiment a micro grow too.

Seedlings moved to 1.5 liter pots.

1. What will be the best height to go into flower consider that the height is 45 cm? I can do some internal scrog if needed.
2. Should I go with both strains? 4 small pots? (Aurora + GSC)
3. Better go with one strain only (consider those 2 strains? and if so, which is better for micro grow?)

You could well do 1-4 strains (latter better with SCROG or some LST/Bondage). Depending on the stretch of the plants in Flower I wouldn't veg past the 10-15cm stage. Keep in mind you need to stay away from the E27 lights with your plants. Good luck.

Gsc stretches like a bitch.

your main issue would be heat management,

1. What will be the best height to go into flower consider that the height is 45 cm? I can do some internal scrog if needed.
u have to calculate the height of the pot. should be shallow pot as it will encourage horizontal growth lets assume that ur pot height is 15 cm, u should do lots of LST/topping, to keep the plant and pot height 25 cm before flowering, and dont install scrog, as it will be impossible to remove the pot later for maintinance and watering, so you would have only one pot (horizontal wide), take it out, train it, groom it as you like, feed it, then put it back.

if you want to finish fast ? do all 4 but u will be losing seeds and it wont be easy for you to manage, go with one plant only, with lots of topping.

I decided to go with 2 only. GSC & Aurora.

Its an E27 Led, no heat at all, isn't it the same as CFL?
I have CFL too, is it better?

Its has 2 vents and the room has an air condition.

I want to go with 2 only, GSC and the Aurora.
They are in 1.5L pots, the plants is around 12 cm height, with the pot around 25 cm.

Maybe your are right about the scrog...and wide pot is a good idea.
I know one strain training and even scrog is better, but its hard to give up healthy plants.

to maximize the space put them in one grow bed, with a separator. make sure that the container has many holes and good drainage, of course if you want to, 1.5L pots wont yield anything, and you will run into root bound.

Here are some photos, as you can see 2 plant is more than enough and I need to start training ASAP

no its not, try to get some Samsung lights maybe 13 watts each i guess if you found higher get them , not the cheap ones.

first try to transplant into something with less height and wider to give you some headspace. after defoliate and bend down all the stems. maybe top the plants, and switch to flower asap.

I did as your advice.
3 plants moved to another room.
Aurora stays and I cut a pot to fit. I will plant it in 15 cm of soil so it will be wide.
I even added some reflectors on the internal sides.


Today I watered her and fed her, tomorrow I will move her.
Then let the training begin

good job, drill so many holes, the more the better, on the bottom and the sides.

9 at the bottom and 4 on each side (16 total on the sides)

Transplanted, watered, trained. Nothing to top again yet, I topped recently.

This weekend will be enough for her to go 12:12 or should I wait more?
I have no idea how much this Auroro will stretch during flowering and if I can keep on training while flowering.

good job, now you will not water again until the weight on the pot is light.

once the pot is light weight, water slowly, until its fully watered, take out any excess water from the bottom plate.
you have 2 options, option 1 is to leave the plant for an extra week in veg and this will give it a good root mass in the new container.
but if you decided to go this path, you have to micro top (google that) all the new shoots ASAP, leave for a week and then flip.


option 2 you can flip now, but don't expect more than 20 grams tops.

Extra week in veg sounds good, you right, I just transplant it.
I couldn't find anything on cannabis micro top, can you please direct me?

Do you mean as the regular top when you cut off the tip?

just remove the tip of the top. to remove as less as possible, of all the tops that you have.

Waiting one more week and then 12:12.

Its called fim,

I would flip now and keep tying down and consider yourself really lucky if its not all touching the roof in a week.

Those LED bulbs work better with the globe cut off and facing down.
