So today I will be starting a journal for my first attempt at cloning. This will be my first round of cloning. I will be doing 7 female wwxbb and 5 female THC Snow. I will be using jiffy peat pods like the noob that I am and have set up some trays on top of my lights in my tent for warmth. It stays at a constant 85 degrees. I will post pics later once I start. Wish me luck dudes!

Some people would probably like to see a bigger or longer cut but ain’t no body got time for all that with June right there. I made my cuts at the 3rd node. I then took a sanitary razor blade and mad a shallow cut down the stem which was then dipped into take root footing hormone and then boom stuck in peat. I would probably have to say this is the worst journal I have ever proof read lol any questions or concerns let me know I still have to do another 20+plants to do. These strains I just care about the least which is why I did my first run with them.

Leaves aren’t droopy today, are even standing up a little bit. From what I’ve read that’s good? Humidity is around 80% and temp is at 80 today

Those plants look a little deficient. I would verify the pH is in line (root zone) and make sure the feed is adequate.
I definitely started off with ph problems but I have them in check. They had just been watered hence the droopy leaves but tbh I feel like they could be happier and healthier I am just not experienced enough to give it to them just yet.

So update little late but all of the ones I attempted have roots shooting out the sides all over except 2. Will post pics later.

Here’s just an example. I’m confident enough to go ahead and clone my favorite GG#4, and my one and onlys cherry d and platinum kush. And most of them had roots popping 2 days ago so I feel that was very successful. I hope the next round goes well because these are really the ones I want cloned.

Were you able to transplant them to soil? I get them to root in the peat pods but once I transplant them into soil and I guess harden them off, they shrivel up and the leaves fall off

I didn’t seem to have any problems. I put some straight into flower because this was mostly a trial before I started trying to do the strains I like better. Put 4 of my best GG#4 clones outside and have 4 platinum in the works right now but here’s some of those that I just put in dirt and right into 12/12.they also weren’t rocketing out roots either, they were just poking out when I moved them.

Or the purple stalks which I just can’t seem to do anything about.
Don't worry as some strains just stay like that no matter how much magnesium you give her. On my girl; Her fan leave stems are all purple and she gets purple stripes on the main stems for the entire time. Veg through flower. Good luck cloning my friend! I did better on my first attempt than my second lol.

I’m noticing that although I haven’t tried Epsom salt yet I’ll try that this week but other than that they look great. All of them have rooted too so now I have the platinum in the make shift cloner. Really looking forward to them.

I use epsom all the time, they love it. Half to a tablespoon every few waterings per gal. Doesn't hurt this girl with the amount I give her. I just cook up my own calcium from vinegar and egg shells too. Check out bill wards tutorial on YouTube. I don't bake the shells like he does, I just dry the shit out of them first. To each their own, works good for me and way cheaper than cal mag.

Right now I’m using advanced nutrients ph perfect micro grow and bloom and I mix in some molasses too mostly because I like the idea lol can I add Epsom salt in that mix too?

This is how I did it I'm on my first time. Air bubbler I'm using Eco air 2 Amazon. Ph 6.0 water and flowering clones that I'm trying to re veg under 24 this is day 3 of the switch back to 24/0. Plants were 11 days into flower when cuttings were removed
I’ve read good things about doing it this way, are you gonna cover them for humidity? Or do they not need it in that set up? As you can see I used my mars hydro Tupperware cloner lol works well tho tbh.
