First time grow. Need info and answers.

So I germinated a bag seed of some haze and planted the sprouted seedling into some garden soil Miracle Grow. (I know its not the best) i had it outside for 2 weeks, day and night until i managed to buy some indoor lighting. 2-42 watt cfl 2700k & 2 19-watt cfl 5000k and have it on the plant all night since i still use sunlight during the day. Anyways its been a month in total and the plant is growing but really slow . I don't add nutes, I added some lime juice for pH , but haven't measured it. Water it once or twice a week. Have nice ventilation in the grow space and have a homemade Co2 generator. Anyways, my main concern is , this plant should be bigger already but sadly its not, what could be wrong with it ??

so what kind of lighting rotation are you using? if any? 24 hours of light? any darkness? what kind of container are you using for your plant right now?

I would just give it some time. I used to use a dirt that had nutes in it (Fox Farm Ocean Forest) already for all of my stuff. My young ladies would always be really stunted and sometimes take 2-3 weeks before they started making any significant growth. I switched to a seed starter nutrient (pro mix seed starter/light warrior) which has no nutrients, pretty much straight peat and a bit of other stuff, and I don't even get transplant shock between rapid rooter to pot, or aero to pot. Once the plant is bigger the plant reacts a little better to a dirt with stronger nutes. You will probably be fine, I've never used miracle grow myself, but it's my understanding it has alot of nutrients in it. You're probably just dealing with a bit of shock/nutrient burn. One issue is that the seed starter mixes tend to be a little more dense, so I recommend adding some extra perlite or something. As i said I've never tried Miracle Grow, but my biggest concern with it would be that sometimes I think it has time release nutrients, which would eliminate the ability to flush if you had a burn issue. Another issue is alot of the formulations are made specifically to hold water, so you can water less. I always make my mixes extra airy with lots of perlite or other good stuff to get more air to the root area, and special water holding dirt would probably be counter productive as I like good cycles between wet and dry.

24 hours lights on. Darkness is more like sunset when the suns rays are in the sky but no sun in sight. I'm using a 2 gallon plastic pot.

Hey thnx a lot for the reply. Great intel bro. You could be right , the plant is really green and healthy. No burns or anything besides a cfl burn the happened 3 weeks ago. Nothing major. Appreciate the answer. Will post more pics once growth is significant.

Do you have a light above the plant? or just the sides? and be careful with homemade CO2. I would at least get a co2 reader. You break 1800ppm your plants are not only gonna die, but you wont be able to breathe either.

Nah you should be good with that. I didnt notice if you said how exactly you were introducing CO2. I just thought it didnt say about it being monitored so I was saying be careful.and nice with the lights

looks guys. The plant is doing so much better now. I kept watering and it seems the MG soil had too much nutes for such a young plant.
