Hi everyone, decided to start a grow journal here as the other forum seemed to die very quickly. Just to brush everyone up, started this grow 2 weeks ago and it was a very shaky start as I left the seeds too long in the jiffy and they got very very stretched.

Details:
I am growing in freedom farm soil
200w true wattage led full spectrum home build.
Floragro trio nutes started a day ago at 1/4 strength , I am using ROd water at 6ph I have only watered 4 times. Plant is on a 24/0 cycle after having a LOT of hiccups in the beginning. Here are some photos from start to current.

Update, roughly it is day 16, not sure when to transplant into final pot but I think I will do it in a good few days. Still only feeling 1/4 nutes but I will be increasing dose slowly. No signs of anything bad , looking pretty normal to me. Will be topping her soon once she gets to 6 nodes , I am going to be testing the nebula manifold to get 8 main colas. Few photo updates attached , have a awesome day and lots of love from south africa!

You got at least a week before you need to transplant imo. Looking solid man! Just about to pop a Blue Dream seed myself!

Blue dream loves a lot of water compared to other strains, just a heads up, hold in that pot till your fairly root bound, lots of roots out the bottom and a root mat forming on the bottom, before up shifting it to a larger size. id say 8-14 days, 14 days probably the best. you can hold in that pot till its 20-25cm high, even 30cm high no worries, dont size up too quickly

Im currently Growing Garden of Greens version of Bluedream... interesting I will follow along

Honestly, you’re fine to top at any point for the next couple weeks I’d say. I usually top after the 3rd real node and then top all those shoots one more time to make my base. Gives me about a 12 branch base and then I usually top a couple more times at the screen for better coverage. I tried the 8-12 cola method and it was fun, nice colas, but I think it can be improved, especially for LED users.

Any methods you could possibly suggest? Always open to hearing different ways that have helped other people yield a bit more , starting lst today aswell.

Ya, do the manifold method, but don’t just let those 8-12 tops run wild, top them again and even again, depends how long you want to veg for and how big your space is. If you have lots of plants jammed into a small space then the manifold method might be just fine for you. In Canada we are only allowed 4 plants so gotta spread those babies. I think you only have the one baby?

The entire space is around 6.5 square foot , I have the one only but my girlfriend popped a knock out seed , I'm planning on vegging for about 6 to 8 weeks. So my main idea is to try keep it tidy as long as possible and keep the colas very neat . And Its my first time doing all this so I'm nervous as fk haha. The knock out will possibly be put into flower the same time the blue dream will be.

Def good to think about training early on
I’d top her tip right now if I were u, keep in mind I’ve no experience with this particular strain
Im
Doing 2 plants in a 50x80
So what are ur dimensions?
Wardrobe?walkin? 60x90cm? 50x80?
Maybe u should clone and do more than 1 plant?

Ya that’s a good space, you’re probably looking at an 8 week veg if your light can handle the size in flower. Keep us updated, you’re doing great man!! :D

80cm x 80cm x 160cm, some grow tent I got on a bargain Haha. I'm going to attempt to clone the top clipping I take off and see if putting it in alme rroting powder and what not will do anything, dont have high Hope's lol. I have a knock out in here too, seems to be growing real fast.

Yeah I'm in no rush to get flowers yet learning slowly so I dont miss anything or over look much. Getting a 90w qb soon so my space should be pretty tight and a friend is building me a frame to mount the lights on. All I need now is an exhaust. Will keep thos thread updated maybe 3 times a week since now I'm basically done with work until next year :blsmoke:
