flowering on 14/10 instead of 12/12

Hi,
I am growing outdoors currently and with 14h30 of sunlight my plant is starting to flower. So why not flower with 14/10 indoors instead of 12/12? Could it be better?

I believe it was established that 12/12 is "the standard" for the best balance for onset of flower & reaching proper DLI.

I personally use 11 on/13 off just to save an extra hour on electricity every day.

Most cannabis cultivars will start flower in the 14.5 on/9.5 off window

I do the same .. ive even tried lower .. down to 9.5/14.5 thats where i started noticing yeild loss on alot of plants.. some did fine but not enough to validate keeping it that low

I was looking at different sunrise and sunset times for different places around the planet. Much different times depending where you are in relation to the equator.
I copied down sunrise and sunset times with total amount of daylight
San Francisco
San Diego
and Columbia
Columbia never even hits 13 hours a day of light? I just found it interesting.

Thank you all for your insight. Do any of these pics tell any of you if my plant went back into veg mode? I did a 'form' of light dep if you can call it that. An outdoor plant but I put it in a dark place for 12 hours a day for about a week to induce. I stopped over a week ago and sunrise to sunset is under 14.5 hours a day, these pics are from right now.
