Foliar spray - Epsom Salt/Calcium Nitrate/ Gypsum

Hi

I am a medium-advanced farmer.
I got a prescription from a nice man. But he uses it only on veg, ceases to fertilize during flowering.
I use RO water and led cob, so I thought that you could spray once a week also during flowering, stop 2 weeks before harvest.
(I often read that with RO water and LEDs, cal/mag should be used preventively in a low dose)

What do you think?
I intend to use this mixture once a week, during flowering.
I don't expect any deficiencies in ingredients, but maybe at a tiny dose it would be good for the growth of the plant throughout the growing period.

Spray 2-3 times a week (veg)
1.5 g/gal Calcium Nitrate
1.5 g/gal Epsom Salt
1.0 g/gal Gypsum

Foliar spraying is unnecessary unless you are having a issue. With that being said, I can't see the concentration you describe, hurting anything.

I decided to get rid of the useless and expensive Top Max and BioHeaven.
Fertilizers that I will use only BioGrow and BioBloom and maybe molasses.
A lot of people spray hemp with magnesium sulfate, which is why I decided to try it, especially since I use RO water.

Foliar only make sense if you understand why and when to spray. Just adding a foliar regiment on top of a complete plant food without any further thought is like you're really asking for nutrient lockouts.

Only usable in that bunch is biogrow and bloom. I've tried biobizz many years ago and I still have some friends who still use it. Biogrow already contains molasses/sugars from the manufacturing process. Steer away from using molasses straight.

Maybe invest in their "Calmag" to add in mid flower to combat low pH of the medium? Or use potassium silicate, you don't seem to be an only "organic" guy. Good luck!

But I am not going to spray the plants 3 times a week with the full dose of Epsom Salt recommended online (1 tsp / gallon). Instead, I will use a small dose of 1 gram / gallon, only once every 1-2 weeks, and finish fertilizing 3-4 weeks before harvest. This is a bit different than charging the plants with as much magnesium as possible throughout the entire crop.

I just realized that bioBizz boosters are ineffective and expensive. Instead of CalMag BioBizz, I want to use the Epsom Salt recipe as a cheaper replacement.

Epsom salt and "Calmag" is two completely different products and are not comparable in their uses. You mainly use "Calmag" as a pH buffer.

The over representation of Mg def in biobizz soil (peat) is because of low pH in the medium because the organic pH buffer is being washed out pretty quickly and not being replaced. Spraying epsom salt is just a bandaid. You're only ignoring the main problem.

Ok. I guess I understand what you mean. I have already bought ingredients for this recipe (probably enough for many years :))
Can I use this spray only during the vegetation phase (as the man who gave me the recipe advised) and then switch to Cal/Mag to soil?
I could add this according to the BioBizz manual (0.5ml/L preventively).
My plants have good conditions, do not get sick and do not have shortages, I use soil and fertilizers from Biobizz.
I would like to give plants more than Grow / Bloom. In addition to Cal/Mag, is it worth introducing an add-on?
What do you think about Acti-Vera?
