Found seed in bud from 2x2. Could my 5x5 be pollinated too?

So I took a bud off one of my plants in my 2x2 just to test it out and found 2 seeds. I looked all over both plants but didn't find any signs of hermie on either of them. The seeds were in the critical orange punch which I was going to harvest in a week but Im thinking I should just take it down now. I also have 1 charlottes angel in there too but that has a few weeks to go.

My biggest concern is I have a 5x5 in the same room that is connected to the 2x2 with some ducting. I don't have a fan or filter for the 2x2 so I just use the fan in the 5x5 for exhausting both tents.

I'm thinking pollen has been transferred to the bigger tent and am worried about those ladies getting pollinated too.

Has anybody had to deal with this situation before? I've never had seeds in my bud before so I'm not sure how worried I should be.

I’m 71. I’ve smoked more seeded stuff since 1965 than I have sinsemilla. I still have most of my mental faculties and still enjoy pot.

Yes it could be pollinated. Check the pistils. But unless you have something on deck ready to flip why kill it now? Separate the connections and keep going.

The seeded plant is pretty much done, just a matter of personal preference at this point. After I harvest I'll be able to see if all of the buds were affected.

The plants in the 5x5 have only been in flower for about a week now so Ill keep a close eye on them.

I cant separate the connection since I still have a charlottes angel with a few weeks to go in the 2x2, and dont want to buy a fan and filter since I only plan on using that tent for drying in the future.

I do have a little extra room in the 5x5 so i could finish the charlottes angel in there but that would bring in pollen too. She has probably 3 weeks to go so I didnt open up a bud to see if there are seeds in those buds too.

Don't worry about a couple of seeds. You are almost always going to find a couple of seeds in a grow. They aren't going to harm anything.

also, just because there is seeds does not mean it was pollinated. sometimes a plant will make a few seeds in anticipation of being pollinated. those "seeds" will just be hollow shells. i found one like that in my last crop. 100% not exposed to male or herm either.

Hopefully I won't find many more but I found 2 in one small bud so I'm expecting more.

I've never found seeds in any of my grows so I didnt realise it was so common. Thanks for your input.

Thats interesting since I figured there must be pollen to create seeds. These were fully mature seeds though, not just hollow shells.

As long as the 4 plants in the 5x5 dont have a bunch of seeds then I'll be happy. I had them in veg for 8-10 weeks and they're pretty big so Im hoping for a good harvest.
