Fox Farm Big Bloom Instructions?

All right, I know I'm going to catch 'it' for this, but I'm stumped. I've been using the trio of Fox Farm nutrients for three years now. I've even used the Big Bloom a few times this year, mixed half & half with Grow Big.
Today, I went out to fertilized with just Big Bloom, and, NO, I haven't been smoking too much  , only for medicinal purposes
Anyway, even though I've read the instructions many times, this morning it just didn't come out right:
says: 4 TBSP per gal......
I have a hose-end sprayer that holds 15 gal of mixed. If I mix 5 gal of 2 tsp per gal, I measure 10 tsp (according to label, and it makes sense 2x5=10). SO, 4 tbsp x 5, would be 20 TBSP!, and to fill it it to the top (15 gal) it would be 60TBSP, which is more than a 32 oz bottle....so, this can NOT be right. Well, my sprayer busted, so I had to wait anyway, and I didn't want to fertilize that heavily anyway, but could NOT figure it out!
HELP! PLEASE!
thanks!

Hey, even if you're going to tell me I've totally lost it, go ahead. I need an answer

OK, I NEED an answer so I can fertilize my plants!
So, I'm going to ask it a different way:
Does ANYONE know how to measure the Fox Farm Big Bloom fertilizer properly?

What’s the NPK ratio on the bottle? 4 TBSP a gal seem really hot, unless the starting ppm is real low. Example: I used 30-10-10 for veg, between 1/2 and 1 teaspoon a gal. If you need 4 tablespoons of something per gal, you are buying water

Do the math, from what I used, to have to use 4 tablespoons, the NPK would have had to have been 2.5-0.8-0.8. If your numbers really are that low in what you are buying, buy something else.

Do the math,

I do the math: 4 tbsp per gal. on the sprayer, for 5 gal, it would be 20 tbsp. (the instr actually give you the math for 2 tsp: 2 x 5= 10 ....simple, isn't it.
BUT< 60 tbsp??? no friggin way!
The instructions on the Grow Big made sense: 2 tsp per gal, so 10 tsp per 5 gal. That wasn't too much.
this is outrageous!
SO, today, I just took what was mixed and divided it into 4 sections, and fertilized with 1/4 of it. I know that at least won't hurt it until I find out exactly what to do.
I tried working with ph levels a few y ears ago, and had a cheap meter, and was advised not to worry with it, and j ust tossed it (sorry for the typos..i'm standing).
anyway, I DO still have a lot to learn.

Hey I know almost nothing, but I think anybody will say, dumping a whole 32oz bottle of nutrients every time you water is ridiculous, and at that cost just buy from a dispensary it would probably be cheaper lol (not really good lord dispensaries rape people, nowhere legal for med patients to get quality meds at a decent price except by growing)

@Powertech , I totally agree with you. that's the reason for the post. It HAS to be wrong. I'll figure it out. somehow.Right now, I'm just fertilizing at 1/4 the recommended amount, and hoping that'll do. Heck, the first year I grew a multi-plant crop (bag seed), I hardly used any fertilizers, no fungicides, insecticides, etc, and had NO yellowing of leaves (but, sure have had them with black and now brown spots the last 3 years...now, that I'm following proper procedures!), no problems whatsoever barely doing anything to them. BUT, trying to do it the right way causes more grief than it helps. I'm considering next year, maybe trying to just leave some of the plants (almost) alone! We'll see! I'm pooped from trying all this only to see problem after problem. :wall:

Look at the npk numbers on the front of the bottle compared to the other bottles. The concentration of big bloom is much smaller thats why you use more of it.

never thought of that.
BUT, a whole bottle for one sprayer full? Just doesn't seem right. this is my third year to use it, and I know there's no way I used a bottle at a time! (16 oz), so that would mean I'd use up the 32 oz bottle in two uses. That's expensive, and I think it just doesn't need so much. I used 1/4 as much last time. I'm hoping i don't mess up my buds.
Maybe next year, I'll change nutrients,....except I still have a full 32 oz bottle of Grow Big to start with, and have hardly used the Tiger Bloom from the first year! SO, guess I'm stuck with it for now, unless I feel really rich next spring .

Yeah it's good shit, but at the rate/amount you have to use it,makes it shit....lol
Now in 10+ gal pots(organic) it is better.

I have 15 gal pots. What would make it different? Maybe I'm doing it wrong (I've been known to be wrong before :p).

Good idea. Don't know why I didn't ever think of that! I'm wondering what I did last year... 2020....maybe 2020 just didn't exist :p.....wouldn't that have been a nice year to skip ;). Curious what they'll say. Thanks!

For big bloom from fox farm you could make your own. Actively aerated compost tea is best fresh. I've fed all my plants fox farm's schedule and didn't have any nute burn you can check my post history in the bodhi thread :).
