I watered at 6.5 ph but then one of my plants got fucked up and I was told that I have to not ph my water for ffof has buffers that do it. My hydro store guy told me to flush since ppm are high but then i red organic like ffof suppose to have those ppm amounts. So why did one of my plants mess up and not other. Is it the ph thing ? 8F16A592-8F90-4AEE-AADA-D27051360818.jpeg

I would definitely not worry about feed or top dressing for a while yet. What did you use to Ph your water? Typical Ph+/-? If so, though just introduced Phosphoric acid(Ph-) or potassium carbonate(Ph+) to your system. These chemical Ph adjusters have probably wreaked havoc on your micro biome. I would flush for the next watering or two. Your adviser is correct, soil does contain Ph buffers, so unless your water is completely out of whack you shouldn't need to worry about Ph to much. Note this is only for soil, any type of hydro, coir, or aeroponics, Ph is vital.

And when u say flush for the next watering or 2 do u mean just water till 20% run off like normally or give it a real flush which means to me is 3 times amount of container. So it’s in a 5 gallon so 15 gallons is a flush ?

Ok when she needs watering again, not now, no overwatering, full flush the first time, see how she reacts. If positive, return to normal care and maintenance. If not positive, 1 more full flush should neutralize the adjusters.
On second thought im not sure I'd wait for the first flush. Getting that stuff inert sooner may be better. Yeah, I think I'd flush asap, and watch for her response.

So I flush all of them since I watered them the same Or just the sick plant since other ones look way better then that one Not sure why. And I have never flushed before is there anyway I can give me a quick crash course on flushing And also if I flush will I wash out the buffers in soil ?

Sorry Iam also a bit confused cuz u said “no overwatering “ but then U also said to do a full isn’t a full flush just like an over over watering. Sorry for all the questions Just frustrated with my situation. I really appreciate the help

I get it, sorry. My mind works through too one completion before considering another, hence the second thought. If she hasn't had the Ph'd water for very long, I'd flush to at least double your planter size asap. Flushing is just a long slow watering. You can kinda liken it to a heavy storm. I would think as long as you go slow enough it should just flush the water soluble additives and not the micro fauna/ flora. Just be sure she hasthe best drainage you can give her. I know one grower that puts his pots directly on a towel after his flushes. Says it helps return the planter to a less than saturated state. I think they were only on the towel for a day.
