Fellow growers, what's happening!

*Disclaimer* I ALWAYS. Grow from seed and I ONLY purchase from the tude'. I usually grow synthetic in coco indoor but this run is pure organic. Outdoor.

I'm so stoked...I've been an indoor grower for a long time - only my second outdoor run. This year I'm running pineapple express and ayahuasca purple. I had a rare darkness as well....but had a BS, deuche, liberal, neighbor dispute which spooked me enough to the point that I sacrificed one in the name of another day.... (***pours some out some for the homie***)....but I digress...

The plants are looking smelling.... DANKK.
As I said I've always grown from seed, so this pineapple express isn't the same as previous. Previously, it was the craziest sweet candy Snelling bud you can imagine...by far the best smelling plant I've had the pleasure of seeing in person. But this one is badass in its own right...which has me thinking these seeds are gold...this one is built just as tough, looks similar (given I ALWAYS lst my plants) but has a super skunk smell on top of being extremely vigorous and thus far pest/disease resistant.

The crown jewelry of this year though, I think, is going to be the ayahuasca purple. Now I've grown other barneys beans and not been too satisfied, though this plant..I just have the feeling is going to live up to its name...im not but 2.5 weeks into total flower...(from the time it started throwing its first hairs until these pictures) and its ALREADY a beautiful violet bouquet! Looking closely, the purple is already creeping from the stems to the fan leaves as well. Its looking spectacular!

I'll document my journey from here on out. But so far. So freaking good!

Has anyone grown these strains? What were your results/thoughts/impressions?

Stay tuned!

Not only will these be dank...but they'll be cured in a CANNATROL COOL CURE for the first time.

So far It's doing everything they say it will, its keeping a steady temp and humidity, and pulling moisture into the drain pan.
I'm just running the factory settings right now, 4 day dry, 4 day cure. It's not my batch, it's a coworker who ran some auto flowers. He had some PM issues on one plant, we peroxide washed the hell out of it, ran it thru the Centurion Trimmer, and into the Cannatrol it went, no signs of anything popping up yet after we washed. Very little smell coming from it, opened the door to check on the trays, and stunk up the living room in about 10 seconds, and it smells fantastic.
I've got a whole forest that's got to get harvested this year, so I'm going to have plenty to experiment with.

Update:
Ran into some heavy yellowing. Not quite sure what's happening. The p.e is much further advanced in yellowing. Since my last post they've stretched a bit and fattened a tad, but I feel growth has slowed significantly. I've supplemented with a heavy dose of roots terp tea bloom and roots bloom booster. First thought is potassium/nitrogen deficency though so far heavier doses haven't corrected it. It started after a couple of days of solid rain (which subdued) but the yellowing continues...

Actually, my buddy just picked his batch up about an hour ago.
The one plant that had to be washed came out without a spec of mildew or mold.
He got 6- 1/2 gallon jars out of the Cannatrol and 1/3 of a 1/2 gallon jar done on my racks the "traditional" way in my drying room, 64 degrees and 58% RH.
Batch was wet trimmed and run thru my Centurion trimmer.
The nose on the 1/3 jar was on point, stinky. It had a nice aroma, little sticky, smoked good. No complaints, he and his wife were more than happy.
Now to the Cannatrol, the jars had a different initial smell, not as loud, smelled different in the jar, not bad, but different than the rack, a little sticky, not too wet, and preserved the color. Looked as green as the day it was harvested.
Now, we broke up a bud, and it stunk up the living room, the kitchen and the hallway. My wife came out of the bedroom and asked why it "smelled" LOL
The Taste was far better than the rack dried and smoked a lot smoother. It burned nice and even down the entire joint.
My friend, his wife, and my step kids were shocked on how much smoother and better tasting it was, they were very very happy to be taking their crop home.
I cant wait to start harvesting now. I've got some real nice looking plants that I can't wait to try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next up is a cool dry/cure on some bubble hash. I'm going to run it low and slow and see if it makes any difference with that also.

Wow I'm so stoked to try this thing! Why do you think it is that the buds didn't have the dank aroma until you broke it up?

I think it locks in the terpenes, and you don't get the full effect until you start breaking the buds up, but the taste and smell was far superior to the buds dried on the rack.
The 1st of my plants should be coming down in a couple weeks, then it's game on!!!!!
