Is this possible with the 62% packs?? Never happened before been curing for 6 weeks... Is it bad to smoke mildew and will the mildew spread more on the buds if its really mildew ?????

Most importantly Im not keeping the bovedo packs in. Also like I said its a small small amount like .001%... Should I cut it off and will it spread ???

@Meast21 do you have a hygrometer? If not you're flying blind, how do you know what your RH is at with out one? I use the boveda packs I'm my cvault and I can tell you that if your bud is too wet they won't help bring the RH down all that much, they're better at keeping the RH at 62% or bringing it up to around that. Listen to Brodie, from the sounds of it you're bud needs to dry a lil before you put it back in the jars.

You don't have to get this one but it's cheap and if you need to do the salt test just let me know and I'll learn ya how.

the broveda packs do NOT help in drying your herb. all it does is keep your herb at a 62% rh AFTER its finished drying and beginning stages of curing in your jars.

and r/h meters are a must or like said above, curing/drying blind.

it hasn't been curing for 6 weeks. its been growing mold from too much moisture trapped in a sealed jar w/no way for the moisture to escape.

Drying herb before jarring helps alot. Boveda packs are good but jarring early will do nothing if herb still wet. Or in some cases well turn all the herb brown with no smell
