Girl Scout Cookie(I think) OnePlantGrow

Alright, so this is my “supposed” Girl Scout Cookie clone. Seeds came from a bag from a friend that grows that says its GSC. My buddy popped the seeds and only one survived, we grew it out and took some clones. Thats where this grow began. I have pictures of most of the grow up to the point that its at.(I can add them in later if you guys wanna see them.) She’s currently sitting at about mid week of week 6 of flower.

Here’s a picture of her currently..(as of a couple days ago now.)



She’s being grown in a box I made out of 2x2s for the frame and cardboard for the walls taped with aluminum tape. It is 13”x13”x36”. The inside walls are lined with a reflective material also secured by the aluminum tape. Im using two 120mm pc fans that have been cut to fit into the cardboard walls to cycle fresh air through that have also been light proofed. The light that I am using is a Walfront “600w” LED that I got online at Walmart and hung at about 6” away from the tops. She's also sitting in a 5 gallon fabric pot that I cut in half to fit the space better.

(Ignore the 2 plastic cup plants, they have been cut down since they were no longer fitting in or getting enough light. If your interested, they weighed about 7g each wet, they are still drying out.)

Thank you and Thanks for stopping by Rsawr. Yes, this would be my first official grow. I tried growing quite a few years ago but it didnt get very far. So with some research under my belt now, ive ventured into this here micro grow.

Following along, and good luck, friend!

I left out some information like watering, ppm, nutes, schedule and so on, in the first post so ill add it into this update.
For soil, she is sitting in Burpees Organic and Natural Potting Soil Mix with .12N/.12P/.12K plant food added in.
For nutes im using what I could get my hands on for a decent price which is Fox Farm’s Grow Big for Veg and Tiger Bloom for flower.
For watering I typically wait til I see that the first few inches of soil is dry and the pot is light. Which seems to vary. It could be anywhere from 2 days all the way up to 5 and even 7 days before I give water again. And when I do water, I always water with run off so I can check ppm and see when I need to feed nutes again(which is about every other watering). I unfortunately have to use tap water from a well which is softened so the EC content is quite high but the plant doesnt seem to mind much. I typically fill one gallon jugs and allow them to sit for a few days before I use them. My PH meter broke a couple times after using it which is super unfortunate but things seem to be going well at the moment.
Todays post works out since its both a watering day and the 1st day of week 7.





Gave water and the ppm was pretty high still, around 1700. But doesn't seem phased. It was about 2800 a couple waterings ago and then the watering after that was around 2200 so it seems to be eating and looks pretty good. The leaves are a bit dark but doesnt smell weird, smells pretty good actually so I don’t think its got a toxicity. Atleast not yet, anyway, theres some pictures after I gave her water. Thats pretty much all I got for this here update. Thanks for stopping by and reading.

Looks GSC'ish to me. I'd ease way back on the nutes, and raise the light a little bit. Looks like there might be some bleaching going on, or maybe it's just nute burn. I only feed at around 650-700 ppm, and plants stay happy.

Thanks for stopping by PJ Diaz. Yeah, I think its GSC or of similar genetics. Ill attach a couple pics of the plant this clone came from which was harvested a couple weeks ago. But yeah, ill only be giving water til that number drops another 1000 or so. Ill most likely give it a moderate feeding of nutes at the end of week 7 if it drops enough and give it water after that with long dry periods between waterings as to induce a little stress. Anyway, here’s those pics..

Just more of a pic update then anything. I went ahead and raised the light a few inches as they are slowly adding to the tops of the buds. But I am quickly running out of upward space to raise my light, only a few more inches before I hit the top of the box. But I think Ill be fine.



Ignore the bright spots in the photos on the tops, its just the way the camera is picking up the light. Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Since I haven’t posted in a couple days, ill throw the last couple days into one post.

Day 51 of flower:
Nothing was done this day, just left it to do its thing.

Day 52 of flower:
She was given water this day. Ppm dropped to about 1450.

Day 59 of flower.
Gave a light feeding of 450ppm in a 1 gallon jug of water and fed that to them today. Runoff ppm was 1150, so much closer. You'll see in the photos that the leaves are slowly dying off, which I'm assuming has to do with a potential lockout from earlier feedings.

GSC is a consistent strain, or at least the auto version has been for me.

When I used a blurple LED, it would finish at 63-65 days. With better lighting (HPS and LED), I usually go 75-90 days from seed before harvesting.

You should have a very nice aroma coming from the plants. Carbon filter required lol.

Got any pics of you GSC autos? I’d love to see them for a comparison. Me and my buddy have been looking around at all kinds of pictures and were almost certain that it is. But it is an absolutely fantastic smelling strain.
In the first grow from seed as shown in post #7 we were running it under 2 Chinly 120w white with red leds and it came out wonderfully; although its smell didn't start coming through til harvested.

I'm not sure what it's doing here at the very top. Seems to be stretching but no signs of re-veg as it's still rapidly shooting out white hairs and single green leaves filled with trichomes from the top.

They all seem to be doing It but this one is filling it out and shooting white hairs widely. This is about to be 8 full weeks into flower btw.

Some shots of GSC girls. I actually just decided to sprout my very last Fastbuds GSC seed that I have left. It will be one of four seeds I run next.

Word. I appreciate the reply. It looks alot like what ours looked like while drying. And I'd definitely be interested in seeing that grow.

Update: Day 65.(today is 66 but these are last nights pictures before lights out.) Nothing really going on. Trimmed off only leaf tips that were brown and dead to allow in more light to the lower parts of the buds.

So here we are again. Day 68 of flower(from flip). Nothing was done besides given water. Seems I have a another week or so as trichomes are still mostly clear and hairs are still mostly white. Pics..

Day 71 of flower (from flip). All in all I think this is coming along alright for the grow space and environment; and it being my first grow. I've Learned that my light is just too strong for it at the height that it's at but I dont have any more upward height to push it back. So I ended up diffusing the middle two strips of blue leds with what I had on hand, parchment paper. Which spread the light to about 7-900ppfd from about 1200 dead middle just burning them up. Also due to a humidity issue I found a fan leaf with with some mold, I didn't bother taking any pictures and disposed of it immediately. I inspected heavily til I was pleased to find no other spots with any other issues.

I am heavily considering chopping her down since I am having terrible issues keeping the humidity down in the box throughout. I know she has at least another week if not 2 left at the rate the trichomes and hairs are coming about. Any input is welcome. Should I stick it out and let her finish or chop within the next couple days to avoid another mold issue?

Day 72, shes coming down. Cant keep the humidity down enough to see her way to the finish line. Its unfortunate but I dont want to see all the work wasted away by mold. Here's a bunch of pictures to commemorate her.
Her wet weight was a whooping 240g. Each cola weighing in at an average of 28g, give or take. So not bad overall. Losing about 4 grams of wet weight to the affected buds with the mold.
