so my three Banana Haze plants will be ready for harvest in 8-10days but leaving for a month in 12days so will not be able to give proper love.
Been told to hang them with the roots up just wash the soil off and it will wait for me.
Also if left hanged in the closet for 4weeks with carbon filter on my duct fan will there be strong smell coming out of the room ?
Any other options? what to do, how to get them ready, how to cure and where to keep them for 4weeks?
Thankssss

Those plants need at least 2 weeks minimum to finish. Letting them hang, unchecked, for a month will either be moldy or crispy.

Also how strong is the smell to compare to bloom when drying?
Typically the smell is strongest for the first 24 - 48 hours, very strong then it will smell sorta like it's wet hay for a few days when it's still wet but has wilted and started to shrink. The yummy smell returns when the flower is closer to dry enough to jar and by now the odor level has dropped some unless handling the material. Definitely still smells though. I run a big ass carbon filter in my drying room or the whole house reeks and you can smell it at the curb.
