Good clone sources by la or san diego

I found buds and roses and green dragon by Google and their reviews seemed good. Can anyone recommend any more clone vendors with legit cuts and nice selection in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas? Besides dark heart nursery vendors that I can find by their locator. Driving from out of town so anywhere within an hour of these sounds good to try out.

Buds and Roses has a great selection and clones are usually about 12-18”. They also let you exchange them if there’s a cut they bring out that you don’t like. Only con about buying in LA is the extra taxes the county applies. Here’s a list of a few good ones.
Artist Tree (La)
The Medicine Woman (Bellflower)
KushGram (Long Beach)
OffTheCharts (OceanSide)
March&Ash (San Diego)

Sorry but none of these are good sources. Wack strains and most are old school strains.

I know of one called Clones on Fire in long beach but I haven't tried them yet as they seem to sell out pretty fast and never have enough selection for me to order something.
Does anyone know of any others with more intriguing strains and low minimum purchase of 1-5?

Not sure what you consider intriguing(as I was pleased to get slurricane, gmo, super lemon haze, and Wedding cake from buds & roses), but dr greenthumb gets purple city genetics drops and green dragon has around a 40 strain selection.

Ooops missed bud and roses. Just looked at their list, they definitely do have intriguing strains. I might take a visit up there from orange county. But all the others, nah.. just old stuff like wedding cake and hazes and OGs.

Intriguing to me means the hyped strains or something thats new or hasnt been out for too long. What makes them more interesting? I want to see what all the hype is about by growing them.
Stuff like runtz, apple fritters, peanut breath, biscotti, mac1, macv2, mango banana, chileverde,
Cookie cuts, jungle boy cuts, oni seed cuts, cannardo cuts, tikiman cuts, etc.. stuff like that.

green dragon def has a decent selection too but the post I replied too didnt include that

Those purple city genetics drops might interest you. I just picked up Apple fritter and papaya from Dr greenthumb and they also had brr Berry and waiting game. Their other drops have been getting forbidden runtz, gush mintz, runtz, slurty3, and gushers, plus a few more. The only problem with them is they're kind of all over the place. Some in San diego, others in LA, and more up north.

Might be worth it to call them and ask. They just dropped last week. Papaya was never on the menu, I just saw they had it from pcg's Twitter feed. It's listed as Dr greenthumbs dtla on weedmaps.

allstarclones (no physical store)

I only have experience with allstarclones. Great prices and selection but the dude is hard to communicate with.

Weedmaps is cool but they have limited clones and expensive... Check out thecloningstation.com shipping is available in little containers made to hold each clone as well as free local CA delivery for those that live in the area, and legit strains as advertised no BS.

Sketchy website and no reviews of products.

Grow from seed, fellas...
I had to learn the hard way that you cannot trust these clonefactories further than you can throw 'em.
My seedlings turned out way better than any clones I've ever had.
Yes: it's more expensive. Yes: its more work. But man is it worth it!!!

kind regards, sh0

In effort to get this thread back on track and useful to anyone who in california are looking into clones...and not seedsssss..

Slum, IMHO It appears that THC levels have dramatically increased from around 25–27% when SB 420 and Prop 215 were first authorized to around 30–35% now, with several times the increase being physically apparent. For instance, Surricane from in-house genetics really raised the bar for frost.

There is one growing concern and the majority of dispensaries are probably already aware of this, some people assert online that those numbers are overstated owing to various methods like keif dusting.

I've also noticed that many of the newer poly-hybrid strains have a lot more flavor and bag appeal. This may be because zkittles and runtz are parents in many of these genetic lines.

You start to see a ton of variation and phenos that could have taken longer to develop using the normal ways of "true" breeding because all of these new clinics are slamming together any nice genetics they find (an article in itself). There is a drawback, as you may have noticed. If regular seed options were created for these strains, the breeder might not be able to accurately predict which pheno traits to expect, and customers might not be happy unless they are first made aware that they are purchasing a poly-hybrid. This implies that your chances of acquiring the required set of phenos in the lottery are reduced.
