[h=1]Budswell: Ryan's Ultimate Weapon in The Growing Prime Ganja War[/h]High clint— we've all seen it.
Your friend opens up their bedroom closet. Inside is a thriving marijuana plant, with hanging THC-rich frosty sparkling nugs glistening all over, the air is thick with that unique pungent musky odour. Explosive buds that just seem to pop out at you, from every angle.
When I used to visit friends' grower closets, I would be AMAZED at how many "Big little buds" would be practically spilling out all over the floor at us.
The question I used to have was, "How the heck are these guys getting their buds so big and SO FROSTY?!!"

Well, after many many decades of research, I have found what I believe to be one of the most important factors in swelling your buds. That is what I coined "bud swelling", and it is done just 2-3 short weeks before the Flowering phase.
Bud Swelling is simply using foliar feeding, alongside one of my special foliar feeding formulas located in My Ultimate Guide.
For a starter recipe: (More advanced ones are inside of the guide.)
-Bat guano tea base. (Bat or seabird guano in a sock, left in a bucket overnight.)
-Fish emulsion.
-Soluble liquid kelp solution.
-Bone or Blood meal!!
Instructions:
Take all of the ingredients, mix together and put in a spray bottle. Usually about 1/8 of the bottle will be nutrient solution. You need to intuitively sense it. Ask your ladies, they will tell you what they are needing!!!!!!!
When you really get growing, you can purchase one of those industrial farmer spray backpacks and fill it to completely cover your ganja garden!!

2-3 weeks before you go Flowering spray once before sunrise and once right when the sun is setting. Be sure to cover ALL parts of the leaves, especially under the leaves. Continue doing this, AND DO NOT MISS A DAY!
When you're ready to Flower, make sure you don't leave a mess by hosing everything off with clean, filtered water. If you can't use anything other than tap water, then you can just fill a watering can with Reverse Osmosis or Spring Water.

I prefer spring water opposed to distilled, because it still bathes your sexy Mary Jane in mineral-rich proper ph water.

You see, your plant has these tiny little holes called stomata. Botanists have discovered early in the A.M., and around sunset these tiny pores open up.
When you saturate the foliage with a diluted nutrient solution, your buds are literally getting juice pumped right into their intra-cellular fluid and channelways.
The result? EXPLOSIVE buds and unbelievable yield!

Try it!! I promise you will be getting amazing, sticky, dank-smelling nugs sooner than you are thinking!!!!!!!!

I will keep updating this thread with more info ...

[h=1]5 Common Growing Mistakes to Avoid At All Costs[/h]High clint,

Time and time again I see newbie (and veteran!) growers making the same erroneous grow mistakes over and over again. If you've just started growing or have been for a while, I think you'll agree the following tips will save you many years of heartache and frustration.

So without further ado, let's get started shall we?

1. Getting Caught

If you live somewhere where the cultivation or possession of marijuana is a criminal offence then stealth and discretion are of the highest priority. There are many factors to be aware of; heat signatures, electricity consumption spikes and snooping neighbours, these should all be borne in mind. However, by far the biggest reason for people getting caught is indiscretion. It's tempting to tell friends about your crop, it makes you seem cool and important. The thing is, it makes them feel important too and the news soon spreads. DO NOT TELL ANYBODY ABOUT YOUR CANNABIS CULTIVATION.

2. Over Watering

Lots of cannabis plants are lost through overwatering, although this applies mostly to soil set-ups. It is difficult to overwater plants in a hydroponic system, although still possible if you don't allow any oxygen to get to the roots. With soil set-ups, it is important that the soil is not permanently waterlogged. Neither should it be allowed to totally dry out. Water when the top few inches of soil is dry. It is water in the plant cells that keeps the plant upright (turgidity), limpness and wilting in the plant is often a sign that it needs watering. Try a wet / dry concept letting the plants get nearly dry and drooping and then watering them again, this cycle has been known to show good yields.

3. Over Feeding

Giving your plant too much fertilizer is a very easy mistake to make. Many unfortunate people fall for the common misconception that more food will result in bigger plants. This is simply not the case. Follow the instructions that come with the fertilizer very carefully. If your plant begins to show signs of over-feeding, such as curled and yellowing leaves, flush immediately and spray the leaves with pure water for several days.

4. The Wrong Temperature

Cannabis plants are very sensitive to temperature. Optimum temperature for growing weed is somewhere between 72°F to 77°F (22.2°C to 25°C) range for all growth. Although they will tolerate temperatures between 60°F and 92°F (17°C - 33°C) these extremes are at the limits of their range and will severely affect the growth of your plant.

5. Impatience

Growing your own weed can be very exciting. It is important if you are growing outdoors not to jump the gun and plant your plants out before the last frost. Don't be fooled by an early mild spell. Frost will kill your plants.

At harvest time it is even more important that you keep your impatience in check. This applies to both indoor AND outdoor growing.

As buds swell and become sticky it can be very tempting to cut them. But buds continue to grow, both in size and potency, right up to the end. Yields may increase by 25% in the last two weeks. Wait until around 50% of trichomes have turned opaque before harvesting.

In all my years of experience in not only growing but also teaching others how to grow world class cannabis, the aforementioned "newbie" growing mistakes run rampant. Please keep in mind the above is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to potential critical errors, but it will do for now.

Until next time, Keep it GREEN LOVING and full of LIGHT.

Peace,

THE TOTAL THC TIP OF THE WEEK
High Guys!
If you want to produce LARGE nugs that make your customer's mouths water, then it is crucial for you to learn how to prune your plants!
One of the most effective ways to improve your harvest yield is by pruning your plants so that they produce fewer, but much bigger buds. There are many different pruning techniques that product different results, but here we will focus on specific techniques for increasing harvest yield.

Depending upon the genetics of your plants and your goals as a grower you should determine the type
and style of the trim. A lot of work goes into pruning and training plants, but it results in bigger, higher grade buds that require less manicuring. Which means, an easier harvest for you!!!
Pruning, although sounding complex, is simply the act of snipping off excess stems, leaves, or any other veggie matter, to force the plant to focus it's resources on a few select branches, which will then become VERY LARGE big sticky dank buds!
Before any dedicated pruning a marijuana plant might have anywhere from 16 - 20 branches. When the prune is completed the cannabis plant will have only 4-6 remaining branches that receive a healthy saturation of light.
(This is another added benefit of pruning your cannabis plants; by trimming off the lower fan leaves that are covered by the upper echelon, you can increase available plant resources and funnel them directly into bud production!)
You can begin by clipping any small buds and branches under the canopy, along with any less developed or excessive branches. Many of the undergrowth branches will only produce popcorn size marijuana buds, and are brittle at best.
Instead of throwing these snips out, you can cut these branches to create marijuana clones for friends, clientele, or store them. Not to worry - these smaller cannabis buds will only zap energy from the cannabis plant.
Buds under the canopy that are small, and cut off from a light source do not mature well and leech energy from the upper buds. By removing them a marijuana grower will increase yields and quality of their harvest because the marijuana plant is focusing all its energy on a select few heavy producing branches.
So in short, to make it really simple for you (we go in MUCH MORE detail in The Guide and with pictures.) just focus on 4-6 branches to keep, and neatly & carefully prune away all the rest. This will leave your ladies VERY VERY happy!
Many newcomers are SHOCKED at the explosive growth their buds are now demonstrating!!!!!!
I remember my first big Top Cola :).
Until next time,

Keep it GREEN, LOVING, and full of LIGHT.

clint—Have you ever smoked a premium bag of A-Grade top quality medicinal marijuana?
You might think that you have sampled the most famous strains on the market but there’s a chance you truly haven’t yet. Thanks to movies and to the media, certain strains are well known and in demand. Anything popular generally tends to be imitated as a mediocre stand-in for the real thing. The true potency of original Pineapple Express, OG Kush, and Purple Haze is out of this world! True OG or distant relative, a name alone can place a strain on the pricey top-shelf, but just because you paid a lot doesn’t mean it’s going to be good.
Save yourself the hassle and money -- when you grow your own weed, you get to enjoy the purest form of any strain you want, not just some knockoff. Grow multiple strains and enjoy unlimited variety. Using the right techniques you will produce the most killer weed you have ever smoked! Imagine having unlimited supplies of Pineapple Express, OG Kush, and Purple Haze… well guess what, you can!!
Get inspired by these strain reviews and if you want to sample any or all, just start growing it yourself—seriously, with my grow guide it is that easy!
Growing dispensaries don't want you to know this; but growing your own killer herb is not only easy; it's fun!
Pineapple Express

Dale Denton (played by a suddenly slim Seth Rogan—what’s up with that?) made Pineapple Express a famous strain in the classic movie that almost everyone has seen—stoner or not! I was so baked the first time I saw Pineapple Express, but I still can remember it was hilariously funny.

Some people think Pineapple Express strains won’t be that good because of the movie hype, trade secret: this is true only if you buy it from anywhere… but if you can grow it yourself from seeds, you better prepare for your new favorite strain.
THE REVIEW: Depressed? Feeling bummed? Stressed? After a hard day of life (school, work, taking care of your family) Pineapple Express has all of your answers. You’ll be relaxed, happy, and ready to wolf down some grub after just one hit of this stuff. It's potent. More of a head-high than a body-high, this is a great strain for daytime smoking and emotional woes. As the relaxing sensation takes over, a uniquely sweet taste will linger in your mouth, making this strain hard to forget.
Purple Haze

Lately things just don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky
~Jimi Hendrix, Purple Haze (1967)
Classic music enthusiasts, this strain is made for you… but it doesn’t only pay tribute to the greatest guitarist to ever live. This strain packs a real punch that will have you happy as a kid, soaring higher than the clouds. A more intense body high than Pineapple Express, this strain sends you straight to the stars, floating & erasing all of your physical pains. If you tend to think a lot, Purple Haze will have you questioning life in its magical entirety! Identifiable by the vivid purples that pop out behind a bright forest of green, enjoy the delicious grape taste nestled into the heart of this strain.
The smoke is nothing short of ecstatic. But I must warn you, the after-taste is one of fruity and sweet. Some don't like this.

OG Kush

Notorious for giving people the munchies, everyone from Wiz Khalifa to Lil Wayne goes on and on about OG Kush for a good reason. OG Kush is characterized by a deep, dank-smelling bud that is frosty. But, because this strain is so popular it has been funneled and hybrized into a variety of "wannabe" strains with potencies.
The best and most original OG Kush will be a sticky nug glistening with crystals and have long orange hairs. The high from smoking OG Kush typically sneaks up on you, once it takes over you’ll experience a long-lasting body high-- one that outlasts most any other strains.
Great for relieving stress, anxiety, pain, insomnia, and lack of appetite, this is a heavier high than most. It often brings on laziness so don’t smoke before you have to do a lot of work! Keep this bud on hand for serious pain and depression, you’ll be so glad to have it when the time is right.
Good news, you can have unlimited supplies of true OG Kush, Pineapple Express, and Purple Haze! No matter where you live or what your bud-budget is, all of these top-notch strains are available to you in just 12 short weeks - heavy harvested and in great abundance -
Until next time.

Sending you lots of positive energy through the Universe,

[h=1]Alkaline Water For Explosive Yields[/h]High clint,

Ever wonder how some growers can harvest POUNDS during their first grow and unfortunate others only harvest in mere ounces? What's their secret? Well, I'm about to let you in on it.
(Many commercial growers DON'T want you to know these things because it threatens their supply production!)
People always ask me how I get my buds so big, and I'm about to share with you one of my Top Secrets.

The Importance Of Water

One of the most crucial elements any budding marijuana plant needs is that of high quality, pure and alkaline water.
To understand the VAST importance water has on your buds, let's take a look at the growing medium.
Inside any growing medium, there is a whole host of beneficial bacteria at any give time. These beneficial microbes produce nutrient rich fertilizer that the plant then uses as powerful nutrition to produce many different parts of the plant. Including, buds, flowers, stems, leaves, intracellular fluid -- you name it!
When you water your buds with tap water, it contains vast amounts of chlorine (as well as many other chemicals), that not only DESTROYS these micro-organism colonies that leave your plants deficient in essential nutrition, but it also creates a very acidic environment for your precious buds! Not to mention the horrible artificial taste!!!!!
People always ask me how I get my buds so big and with and incredible deep, aromatic flavour we all have grown to love & enjoy. I tell them to start with the basics. Lots of light, a great temperature, and of course, WATER!!!!

Reverse Osmosis Blues

So many veteran professionals will turn to Reverse Osmosis Water filtration. This is a great start, BUT, it comes with a caveat.
Reverse Osmosis is a multi-stage filter purification system that strips all the bullshit out your water supply, taking out up to 99.9% of fluoride, chlorine, and any other VOC's as well as harmful sediments and whatnot.

The Problem
1. By stripping out the TRACE MINERALS, you are vastly reducing the enzymatic capabilities of your plant tissue. Without going into too much advanced into Botany here (Oh, my college days.....), I'll just say this for now: certain metabolic processes inside the plant cells only activate when certain trace minerals are present, and ONLY then.
What this means is, if you're zinc deficient in your grow medium, certain "building blocks" of healthy buds will be snoozing. They WONT go into producing incredible jaw-dropping nugs that are sticky and glistening with THC resin crystals!
In nature, whenever a plant is not getting what it needs, it enters into a reserved state of dormancy. Your plant will literally wait and wait and wait until it gets adequate amounts of crucial nutrients until it starts producing big, heavy buds for you!!!!! And some growers never supply their plants with the proper nutrition, right up until Harvest Time!!!!
2. The second reason Reverse Osmosis isn't a complete solution (albeit 1-million times better than tap water) is because it filters the water, sure, but it does absolutely NOTHING for the pH balance of the water.
Municipal water tends to be highly acidic, and reverse osmosis alone WILL NOT buffer the pH and make your water alkaline. To do this from an RO system, I suggest you add on a special filter that re-adds trace minerals back into the water as well as alkalizing your solution.
Many of my students call me up FREAKING OUT at their growth rate yield increase after incorporating this one crucial tip.
Conclusion

So my fellow 420 lovers, I encourage you to get ahold of the highest quality, purest alkaline water that you possibly can.
Cannabis DOES NOT thrive in an overly acidic environment, whether your chosen grow medium is in Hydroponics or Soil.

Without a bit of a summary or detail with each post, it seems suspect

What is the point?

Are you making any money with any company by posting any of this info?

I just read it and don't see any product pitches at all. Great information BTW, I am going to try the foliar techniques for sure next round!

Thanks for posting this.

[h=1]Marijuana Passes Full Legalization In Washington[/h]clint— These are very special times that we live in today!!!!!!

Yup-it's true!
Unless the federal government steps in, Colorado will soon have a regulated industry for recreational marijuana.
Like Colorado, Washington state also passed a voter's initiative to legalize marijuana with 55 percent of the vote. Now both states are looking to each other to try to implement the will of the voters.
If you've taken a recent trip to Seattle, its easy to spot people openly smoking marijuana near tourist destinations like the Space Needle. Much like Colorado, police have pretty much stopped busting those with less than ounce.
A local named Aaron told us in and interview, "Officially people aren't supposed to smoke marijuana in public." But he said, "It doesn't stop anyone that much right now."
In Seattle, visiting the world-famous farmers' market called the Northwest Cannabis Market will show you a vast market filled with vendors selling medical marijuana and even a marijuana smoking room, similar to a wine tasting room at a winery.

"Colorado is a huge inspiration for us. We truly learn everything there," Cannabis Market owner George Patterson said.
In Washington, medical marijuana isn't as big or well-regulated as medical marijuana is in Colorado, but this small victory is a pivotal moment for cannabis enthusiasts everywhere. Large signs for brand new dispensariesare are now hard to miss in some Colorado neighborhoods. Many dispensaries in Washington don't even have signs yet, and are run by word-of-mouth. Now more than ever is the time to get on-board the Green Revolution. Enjoy growing plants, and helping out your local community by selling legal buds and smoking them as much as you like and wherever you like once you are growing unlimited supplies of killer herb. Check out my affordable growing tutorials located in my Complete Marijuana Grow Guide.

While Colorado has designated money for legalized pot for education purposes, Washington expects billions primarily for health care.

Washington's marijuana revenue will also go to education, research and substance abuse prevention. The intent of the new law is designed to take marijuana out of the hands of illegal drug cartels and bring it under a tightly regulated, taxed system like alcohol.
Washington has even already set a limit for driving under 'cannabis intoxication.' According to recent laws, a driver's blood should not have more than a THC concentration of 5.00 nanograms per milliliter. Colorado is still wrestling with the issue. That's quite a stir in Frankie's Sports Bar in Olympia where people can go buy a beer and openly smoke marijuana. Frankie Schnarr owns what could be the first of many marijuana bars in Washington.
"I don't mind a guy coming up here, toking a pipe or cigarette. But I don't want a big bong over there and 15 guys getting stoned," Schnarr told us.
With bars and markets already catering to the marijuana user, some people in Washington hope the state will position itself as a tourist destination for cannabis connoisseurs.

Until next time,

[h=1]Home Grown Herb IS Better.[/h]High clint,

Sometimes it boggles my mind that certain people like to call themselves marijuana enthusiasts, yet they still smoke the same crappy buds time & time again.

Let's face it; not having access to your very own endless supply of mouth-watering marijuana just plain SUCKS.
You've probably always wondered how some people are able to grow their own incredible bud in the privacy of their own home and never have to worry about how, when and where to get their next baggy.

You see, being able to smoke copious amounts of "top-shelf" herb whenever you want has to be one of the best feelings... ever.
I remember when I first started out wanting to grow my own just after I was diagnosed with my severe depression and got my healing prescription... I really wanted to grow my own amazing marijuana in the privacy of my home and stop having to rely on others whenever I wanted my important medication.
Not to mention that every day street prices just seem to skyrocket as the already dodgy quality just goes down and down!

My first grows were a frustrating disaster. I wasted so much money on ruined crops, incorrect equipment, blown up bulbs, mold-destroyed plants, nutrient deficiencies... you name it. I made every mistake in the book, but the bottom line was that I was FRUSTRATED. Did growing my own awesome marijuana really have to be this HARD?!?

I wanted something simple. Something that was easy to follow along with that produced incredible results - FAST! There was nothing out there like this. No complete system that would hold my hand all the way from seed to smoke.

Grow Your Own Killer Pot With Total Ease!

It was then and there that I developed my how to grow weed system, distilled down and refined from all the practicing years, books I've read, every DVD I've watched, every extensive interview and conversation with other talented world-class marijuana growers, magazines, tutorials, all the grow classes I've taken, all the personal intense research, study and practice, all the failed attempts and growing mistakes I've had to learn the hard and expensive way. I refined it all into the ultimate guide.
It was all here. I wanted to share this shortcut to elite ganja growing success with everyone I could, I had to test it out first. I immediately taught my neighbor who had his own medical marijuana prescription & had mentioned he would like to grow his own. And guess what? After applying my ganja success system within a very short time he grew his very own outstanding medical-grade marijuana supply in record speed on his very first try without ever having to go through the frustrating pain and 10-15 year learning curve most experts have to go through to learn how to do it the right way...
So I began teaching it to more and more people who needed to grow their own medicine in the comforts of their homes and then more and more people were doing it. After everyone began calling me with such excitement and joy about their newly grown effortless incredible eye-popping sticky and frosty new buds I realized I stumbled on something profound. I had a gift - I could literally shave TEN YEARS or more off of any marijuana grower's learning curve and turn them from total newbie who knows absolutely nothing to pro virtually overnight.

What to Grow Indica or Sativa?

High there clint,

I'm sitting here in my grow room. Let me just tell you, it's a beautiful sight!

I wish you could be here. The state-of-the-art grow lights cast a warm, sunny glow on the latest crop of gorgeous ladies. The resinous crystals glisten on the buds like tiny diamonds in the light. As the ladies sway gently in the breeze from the oscillating fan, the heavenly aroma of fresh flowering cannabis wafts my direction...

While I'm enjoying the sights and smells (and sending huge amounts of positive energy to my babies,) I thought I'd take a minute to talk about something that's super important if you're thinking about growing: Choosing between the two species of cannabis - Indica and Sativa.

If you've spent much time learning about how to grow killer weed, you've probably already run into this question. So what exactly is the difference between Indica and Sativa, and which variety is going to deliver the dank, sticky-sweet buds we all drool over?

First of all, keep in mind that the majority of the popular strains nowadays are hybrids. This means that they're the result of cross breeding between Indica and Sativa plants.

When you buy pot seeds (or little baby plants) the strain is usually listed with the percentage of Indica and Sativa present in the strain's genetics. This will give you a good idea of which end of the spectrum your plants will tend toward.

Now we get down to the nitty gritty: which species is right for you? I suggest taking the following three things into consideration.

1. The Shape.

Since Sativas grow tall and skinny, and Indicas grow short and bushy, the size and shape of your grow room plays an important role in the decision. Indicas are much loved by "stealth" growers, since they can do well in tight spaces (like those PC cabinet grows you may have seen - very cool!) Sativas are great for a closet, where there's not much square footage, but a lot of vertical space.

2. The Yield

Generally speaking, an Indica will produce more bud per plant than a Sativa. This could be especially important in areas where growers are limited by the number of plants they can produce. There are a lot of other factors that can affect the yield (all covered in depth in my grow guide), but as a rule of thumb, Indicas are denser and more bud-heavy.

3. The High.

Indica-dominant strains tend to have a heavy, sedative, "couch lock" quality to their high, while Sativa-dominant varieties are known for being stimulating, spacey and cerebral. In other words, Indicas produce more of a body buzz, while Sativas give you a head high. This comes down to a personal preference, and if you're not sure, you can always choose a strain that has an equal mixture of both.

I could get a lot more in depth on this topic (and I do in my free Ultimate Strain Guide - more on that in a sec,) but this should give you a head start on deciding between Indica and Sativa.

Once you make the call, it's time to drill down even further and choose a strain. (That's right, there are literally hundreds of strains within the Indica and Sativa 'umbrellas', and thousands that are a mixture of both!)

Each strain comes within it's own quirks and characteristics. Some are great for beginning growers; some are best attempted only by seasoned pros. Some will send you to the couch for a long nap, others will have you bouncing around and giggling like a schoolgirl!

It helps to have an authoritative strain guide to help you find a strain that's perfect for you. Now, there are some strain guides available for free on the Internet, but they're never anywhere near complete and they usually contain bogus or outdated information. Trust me, I've read just about all of them in my years of research!

As a special bonus for readers of the world's number one grow guide, I included the most up to date and thorough strain guide ever created. If it's not in this guide, your dealer probably made it up!

Seriously, though, it covers just about every strain out there, with information on growing characteristics, Indica/Sativa ratios, taste and flavor, descriptions of the high, and more. (Did I mention the mouth-watering pictures of the finished products? Great for inspiration.)
